I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, with well-presented accommodation and a beautiful copper bath in the room. The hotel facilities were great, and I particularly enjoyed the friendly and warm atmosphere. The staff were brilliant and extremely friendly, providing excellent service throughout my stay. Additionally, the hotel is located in private grounds in a good area, which added to the overall charm and tranquility.

The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The rooms are well-equipped with large beds and basic amenities. The breakfast is a standout, with the delicious Eggs Royale on offer.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful hotel! The building was absolutely stunning, and our room had a unique touch with a metal bath right in the room. The toiletries provided were of great quality. The food in the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were brilliant and incredibly friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The executive room we stayed in was surprisingly good, with a spacious layout and high-quality fixtures. the four poster bed added a touch of elegance, and the large TV was a great addition. Plus, the bath in the bathroom was absolutely luxurious, perfect for relaxing after a long day.

Although the overall experience at the hotel was positive, there were a few minor issues that could be improved upon. the cleanliness of the room could have been better, with noticeable dust on the floor when the light shone through.

Good choice for breakfast, delicious porridge. Evening meal was good value. Very obliging and friendly staff. Bedroom on the small side, bathroom snug but great décor and facilities. Modest price, excellent location for visiting friends, family, and sight-seeing.

The entrance area could benefit from a fresh coat of paint and some tidying up.

We had a fantastic time in pleasant surroundings. The location was ideal, being quiet and peaceful while still being very close to the city centre of Durham. The room was clean and well-presented, with a well-equipped bathroom and an easy-to-use shower. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing informative and friendly service. The breakfast had a good choice, including delicious porridge, and the evening meal was good value for money. The hotel grounds were also very pretty, providing a delightful place to relax.

The bed could have been firmer and the bathroom larger.

The staff at Bowburn Hall were incredibly helpful when our shower broke during our stay. They went above and beyond to try and resolve the issue and even arranged room service for us. The food at the hotel was fantastic, compliments to the chef. Despite a small bathroom, the decor and facilities were great for our needs. The location of the hotel was excellent for sightseeing and visiting friends and family. Despite a few minor hiccups, overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Had a lovely romantic escape and enjoyed the tranquil location and natural surroundings. the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay and were very accommodating to our needs. the complimentary spa treatment and bottle of prosecco were a lovely touch.

The room was a little stuffy and had no aircon, which made it uncomfortable on warmer nights. Breakfast was okay but nothing special.

Stayed at Bowburn Hall for a weekend getaway, had a great time. The location is lovely and the cleaning staff were brilliant. The warm and friendly North East welcome was appreciated. The room was clean, well-appointed, and had a modern bathroom. The Wi-Fi worked well and the food, both dinner and breakfast, was excellent. Definitely worth the money and I will be back.
