Nothing everything was great.

We recently stayed at a charming inn in a picturesque location in the Lake District. The Sunday roast we had was absolutely fantastic, with tender meat and delicious gravy. The portion size was generous and the price was reasonable. The cozy atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made our dining experience even more enjoyable. we highly recommend this place for a satisfying Sunday lunch.

While the inn itself was faultless, we did encounter some challenges during our stay. The room we stayed in lacked natural daylight, which made it feel a bit dark.

We had a fantastic stay at this inn! The staff were welcoming and dog-friendly, offering treats for our furry friends. The location was perfect, with lovely walks nearby and even a steam train station that allows dogs. The bar area was cozy with a log fire, and the food was absolutely delicious with a great menu selection. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel was so dog-friendly that dogs were allowed anywhere in the building. We even received a sausage for our dog during breakfast. a beautiful property in a great location with fantastic staff.

We felt very lucky to have found this gem of a hotel and had no reason to complain.

Not one thing.

This hotel is nestled in a beautiful valley with excellent views. The location, in between a nice forest, is simply breathtaking. The rooms offer great views out the windows and are freshly painted. The lovely ensuite bathrooms are an added bonus. The staff are friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. And don't forget about the delicious breakfast - they even have sausages for your furry friend!

The only minor issue was the weak Wi-Fi signal in the bedrooms.

The location of this quaint pub is perfect, nestled in a beautiful forest and just a short walk from the mountain. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with friendly staff providing excellent service. The breakfast is delicious and there is even a drying room for trekkers. The pub offers a great selection of beers and a stunning view of the surrounding hills. It's the ideal place for a peaceful getaway.

The decor of the rooms could use a slight refresh.

We found a hidden gem nestled in a picturesque location, surrounded by nature. The cozy rooms with tea and coffee facilities provided a comfortable stay. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The menu choices were extensive, and the food was exceptional, especially the pies. The hotel's proximity to Eskdale railway and the beautiful forest made it an ideal base for exploration.

The lack of warm drying facilities for wet clothing.

I recently stayed at the beautiful Bower House Inn for one night with a group of friends. The rooms were immaculate with plenty of towels and toiletries. The peaceful and quiet surroundings were a welcome escape from the busy city. The views from the grounds were absolutely breathtaking. We found the rooms to be great value for money and the food at the bar and restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were helpful and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We recently enjoyed a romantic escape to a charming hotel nestled in the beautiful Lake District region. the staff were exceptional, with their friendly and welcoming nature making us feel right at home. the breakfast spread was a real treat, with a mixture of self-serve and attended service ensuring a quick and efficient start to our day. And, we really appreciated the EV charge point, which meant we could explore the stunning local area in our eco-friendly car.

We had to ask the staff for toilet rolls and milk, which was a little inconvenient, but they always promptly delivered. the carpets in the reception and stair areas looked a bit tired, but thankfully the bedroom was lovely and comfortable.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. They were always willing to help and provide excellent service. the location of the hotel was convenient for exploring the nearby mountains and attractions. It was just a short drive away from the mountains, which was perfect for our Xmas adventure. - the food at the hotel was reasonably priced and delicious. We enjoyed the meals and found them to be of good quality.

The bathrooms in the hotel were not up to par. There was a lot of mould and the shower shield was coming away from the wall, resulting in a wet floor.

I got great value for my money at the Bower House Inn. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The location was perfect, tucked away from the crowds and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel at home.

The breakfast experience could be improved with a wider variety of options.

Warm and Cozy Retreat

I recently spent a few nights at a charming country inn nestled in the beautiful Eskdale region. From the moment I arrived, I felt a warm and friendly welcome from the staff. The rustic features, roaring fires, and delicious home-cooked food created a cozy and inviting atmosphere.

The rooms were clean and well-equipped, with thoughtful amenities such as tea, coffee, and biscuits. the breakfast had plenty of choice and was delicious, providing a good start to the day. the hotel was located in a key location, making it convenient for exploring the surrounding area. Plus, there were many nearby walking trails, easily accessible from the hotel.

On one occasion, I had a table in a room adjacent to the bar for dinner. there was a lack of shower facilities in the rooms, which would have been preferable over just having a bath.
