The property was nicely decorated and very clean. the room had a lot of natural light and a spacious ensuite bathroom. the breakfast selection was good, with a variety of options to choose from.

The location of the hotel was a bit inconvenient, especially if you're wearing heels. It was also noisy due to the traffic on the busy street.

The location of the B&B is fantastic, right in the heart of the city center with plenty of nice restaurants and shops within walking distance. The gardens surrounding the property are well-maintained and create a beautiful atmosphere.

The office desk in the entrance hall gave the place more of a business-like feel rather than a cozy home-away-from-home ambiance.

There was some street noise, so ask for a room at the back if possible. the caretaker’s response to simple requests could have been friendlier.

We stayed at Avlon House for one night during our five-week touring holiday and it was one of the best B&Bs we experienced. The owner's attention to detail and pride of ownership were evident throughout the property. The room was comfortable and quiet, with cozy chairs to relax in. The breakfast was superb, with a continental spread and an additional plate of bread, eggs, ham, cheese. The host was friendly and genuine, offering helpful recommendations. The location was central, with amenities just a short walk away. a wonderful stay worth every penny.

We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the rooms and the warm welcome from the host. The spacious rooms and comfortable beds were a definite highlight. we appreciated the attention to detail, such as the USB sockets for charging our phones and the toothbrush and toothpaste provided in the room.

The mattress, which could have been more comfortable. Despite canceling one room well in advance, we were not reimbursed as requested.
