Lovely views of the city from our room, including a rainbow over the castle. Convenient bus route into the city center, making getting around hassle-free. Luxurious and comfortable four-poster bed. Clean, quiet, and well-maintained hotel. Free parking and reliable local bus services. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and good value for money.

We were pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly welcome we received upon arrival. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, with a well-designed kitchenette that made traveling with a baby much easier. Despite the hotel being old, we didn't hear any noise from other guests. The authentic look of the hotel added to its charm. The location was perfect for visiting friends in the area. our stay was enjoyable and we would recommend this hotel.

The transport links are excellent, with easy access to the city center. Situated on a hill in the upmarket area of Morningside, the hotel offers stunning views of the surrounding park. The rooms are well-appointed with attention to detail, and the showers offer a wonderful view to start the day. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Breakfast is included in the rate and offers a variety of made-to-order options.

Had a wonderful time staying here with my friends for New Year. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, including a kitchenette and a lovely bathroom with a double-headed shower. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the gala dinner for New Year was delicious with great entertainment. Despite being a bit out of town, there was easy access to public transport. a delightful stay at Best Western. Highly recommend.

This hotel is located just outside the main areas of the city, which makes it a nice and quiet place to stay. For its value for money, the hotel offers excellent basic amenities, including rooms with showers and a beautiful restaurant with great breakfast and excellent views. I particularly loved the made-to-order breakfast options that were included in the rate.

the hotel was a pleasant surprise - beautiful old style, comfortable room, and friendly staff. the dining area had great views, and the location was good. we would definitely stay here again.

Wifi was a bit fiddly.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Edinburgh and I had a great experience. the location of the hotel was perfect - it was near a bus stop which made it so convenient to go wherever I wanted to go in the city. It was also great because it was good for the city centre but also for leaving town in the morning without getting stuck in the 'rush hour'. Secondly, the staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The basic amenities in the rooms were lovely and the breakfast in the morning was just as good - well done to the hotel for that. Lastly, I found the rooms to be really comfortable. They may be rather small compared to rooms in other countries, but they were very well laid out for convenience and storage.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic and there is nothing that I believe could be improved.

We had a lovely stay over New Year. the staff were fantastic, offering us complimentary drinks and nibbles in the evening, and a delicious breakfast in the morning. the hotel's location had stunning views and it was easy to take a quick bus ride to explore the nearby city center. the room was comfortable and clean, with all the amenities we needed.

Our stay was let down by the state of the bathroom. It was dated, with mold on the walls and a dirty-looking floor.
