I had a wonderful stay at Briery Wood in the Lake District. The hotel is located in a beautiful area, and the views from my room were absolutely stunning. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was outstanding. The room itself was cozy, spacious, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The breakfast was delicious and had a variety of options to choose from. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even set up a separate lounge for me and my dog to eat in, making us both feel comfortable. The hotel's location in the Lakes was perfect, with beautiful gardens to enjoy. The room was spacious and clean, and I loved the fact that they provided a welcome pack for my dog. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Recently stayed at Briery Wood for a weekend getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially towards our dogs. Our room had a lovely garden view and was impeccably clean. The hotel grounds were beautiful and perfect for walks. The food in the restaurant was exceptional, and they even allowed us to dine with our dogs in the garden lounge. The location was ideal, just a short drive from Ambleside. a fantastic stay and highly recommended.

I had an absolutely fantastic dinner at Briery Wood and the food was simply exceptional. The flavors were delightful and the desserts were the best I've ever had. It was an incredible value for the quality of the meal at just £25 per person for two courses. The room I stayed in was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and well-stocked with luxurious toiletries and fluffy white towels. The overall experience was wonderful.

We had excellent value for our money at Briery Wood. The room was spacious, clean, and recently refurbished, exceeding our expectations. The location was peaceful and the staff treated us with a lovely warm welcome, providing helpful guidance throughout our stay.

The breakfast experience could have been better with more attentive service and a better replenishment of the buffet table.

The bar area had comfortable chairs, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The property also had an adjacent field, providing a peaceful and picturesque setting. The room was modern and clean, with a spacious bathroom and a comfortable bed. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast was delicious, ensuring a great start to the day.

The only drawback was the distance to local restaurants, requiring a short drive or using the on-site dining options.

Friendly staff, clean and newly decorated rooms. Perfect room for myself and my daughter. Loved the coffee machine and the sweets and biscuits provided. Delicious food in the restaurant. Comfortable beds and a peaceful atmosphere for a good night's sleep. A great location for exploring the Lake District. Exceptionally polite and friendly staff with excellent service. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, and all necessary amenities provided. Plenty of local information available and ample parking space. Free Wi-Fi for convenience.

Had the best New Year stay at this hotel! the staff were friendly and always willing to help. Rooms were spacious and very clean, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. the hotel's location was perfect, overlooking a beautiful garden. the breakfast was lovely and cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the small gym the hotel offered.

The Wi-Fi connection was not as strong in the morning. However, this was a minor issue and did not take away from our overall positive experience.

Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight! The location is simply breathtaking, nestled amongst beautiful gardens which create a peaceful and serene atmosphere. I can imagine it would be the perfect spot for hikes and enjoying the outdoors when the weather is warmer. The service here was top-notch, from the moment I arrived I felt warmly welcomed by the attentive and friendly staff. They were incredibly helpful, making sure all my needs were met and providing excellent service from reception to the waiters in the dining area. The room itself was superb, with all the amenities I could ask for including heating and a lovely terrace to relax on. The cleanliness was impeccable and the comfortable bar/lounge area added to my overall relaxation. The breakfast was outstanding, and I was impressed by the variety of options offered.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and provided excellent service, making my time here truly memorable.

Large room with comfy double bed and garden view. Tired decor but nice extras like tea and coffee facilities with biscuits. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Need a car to explore nearby nightlife options. comfortable hotel close to Lake Windermere with well-maintained grounds.
