Despite a few minor issues such as intermittent Wi-Fi and thin walls, the tranquil environment and lovely terrace overlooking wildlife made for a peaceful stay. the Fox pub nearby served delicious food, and the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. improvements could be made in terms of communication and maintenance issues.

I have been staying at this hotel for several years now due to its ideal location close to Rutland Water and nearby villages, with easy access from the A1. the cleanliness of the rooms, hotel facilities, and the proximity to cycle paths for exploring the area make it a perfect choice. the peaceful setting allows for wildlife watching from the lovely terrace. The friendly family and their adorable dog on site add a personal touch to the stay. Cons: Nothing, all excellent.

Persistent issues with the heating system being uncontrollably set at a high temperature.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, situated between main towns and tourist attractions. The surrounding area was peaceful and private, with fields and wildlife to enjoy. We loved sitting outside in the morning, sipping coffee and watching the variety of bird species and rabbits before breakfast. The service was exceptional, with a warm welcome from the staff. The room had all the amenities we needed, including ironing facilities and a comfortable sitting area. The breakfast was top-notch, with a good quality cafetière of coffee to wake us up in the morning. we had a fantastic experience and would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

There were some issues with the heating and hot water during our stay which caused inconvenience. the toilet flush kept breaking and required fixing multiple times.
