We recently stayed at a guest room near Bellingham after attending a wedding in the area. The location was perfect, with a short walk to the nearby village. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a modern ensuite and a powerful shower. We enjoyed the optional breakfast, which was conveniently left outside our door in the morning.

The walls in the rooms were quite thin, so we could hear conversations and footsteps from neighboring rooms.

This hotel is superb for exploring the beautiful surroundings. It's the perfect location to visit Kielder Forest, Hadrian's Wall, and the Roman ruins at Vindolanda. You'll have plenty of opportunities to take evening wanders after a long day of exploring. The modern decor in the spotlessly clean rooms is fabulous, and the ensuite bathrooms with powerful showers are great. Plus, the breakfast delivered to your room every morning is lovely and has a good amount of food.

All was pretty decent, couldn't fault anything.

The room was well-decorated and very comfortable, with modern ensuite bathroom and good facilities like TV and WiFi. the welcome booklet provided an interesting history of the area, and the cozy warmth of the room was much appreciated. We particularly enjoyed the massive, comfortable bed, and the shower had great pressure and temperature. Best of all, the hosts were friendly and helpful, and we got everything we needed.

For the price that we paid, we expected to have some toiletries provided in the bathroom, but only found some makeup remover pads. It was lucky that we had brought our own shower wash and shampoo.

We stayed at Brown Rigg for a few nights during our hiking trip. The room was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The communal kitchen was well-equipped and spotless, making it convenient for preparing meals. The historical information in the room was a nice touch. we had a great experience and would love to return with friends.

i was pleasantly surprised with my stay at brown rigg. the guest room had everything i needed for an overnight stay - a tv, tea & coffee facilities, and an ensuite shower room. i also appreciated that dogs were welcome. the room itself was clean, bright, warm, and cozy. i loved the privacy of the private entrance and being able to park right outside. the furniture and decoration were of a high standard and the room had plenty of light for reading. the welcome booklet provided interesting information about the history of brown rigg. i also enjoyed exploring the nearby village of bellingham, which had a variety of dining options.

The location was perfect, as it was close to Kielder, and we had a lovely view from our window.

That the window in our room was smaller than expected and overlooked the car park.
