The hotel was ideally located near the seafront, allowing for a quick and easy walk to many restaurants. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a double bed and a nice bathroom. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, and there was a cleaner who attended to the room every day without fail. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and there was plenty of tea and coffee provided in the room.

The hotel lacked air conditioning, and although a fan could be purchased for £10, it was not worth the additional cost.

One of the rooms had a damp smell, and the mattresses were thin. It would have been more pleasant if the bedsheets were made of cotton instead of polyester.

Although most of the experience was positive, there were a couple of downsides. the beds in our room were quite uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The parking was very good. Bar prices were very fair. Staff were friendly and polite. Reception was bright and welcoming. TV screen showed live view of sea front. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room and cleaned daily. Sarah, the new owner, was accommodating. Renovations were well done. Ground floor room with walk-in shower was lovely. All meals were great. Location was super.

The location is superb, just a short walk from the seafront and with a charming pub opposite the hotel. it was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend Burlington.

uncomfortable bed

I recently had a wonderful stay at a hotel in a fantastic location. Burlington Hotel was situated perfectly for exploring Sandown town, the beach, and getting around the area on buses. the owner of the hotel was incredibly helpful and accommodating, making my experience very pleasant. the hotel itself is spacious, with pleasant main areas and a lovely little garden where you can relax. I would definitely stay here again.

We only had breakfast included, but when we wanted an evening meal, Sarah sorted it out for us right away. the entertainment was enjoyable, with nightly bingo games. Plus, the location was superb, just a stone's throw away from the seafront, and there was a delightful pub across the road, which was a perfect spot for a refreshing pit stop before the hotel bar opened.

I recently stayed at the Burlington Hotel in Sandown for a few days and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. The location was excellent, with easy access to the town and the beach. The staff at the hotel were absolutely fantastic, especially the manager, Sarah. She was always there to help and make sure everything was perfect. The newly renovated rooms were spotless and had great decor. The breakfast was delicious and the bar and evening entertainment were enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family without hesitation.
