The hosts at Crown Lodges were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Despite the restaurant being closed, they allowed us to order a take away and set up a cozy dining area for us with a fabulous log burner. the room was absolutely beautiful and impeccably clean. We were even granted a late check-out. the location, nestled behind the pub, was peaceful and opened up to a spacious lawned area at the back of the lodge. It was a great base for exploring nearby towns, and the included breakfasts were delicious and great value for money. the bathrooms had good showers and the beds were very comfortable. a spotlessly clean accommodation in a tranquil setting with friendly staff.
