We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The property was modern and very clean, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the city center and with its own parking. The room was amazing, with a spacious and luxurious shower. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, especially the poached eggs. We couldn't fault anything about this place and would love to come back.

As backpackers, we loved the budget-friendly accommodation within a 10-minute walk of York's attractions. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to help us. The room was ready early and we received helpful information upon arrival. The breakfast was amazing, especially the bacon, with a wide variety of options. The room was spacious with plenty of power sockets, good WiFi, and a comfortable bed. The location was convenient, either a 20-minute walk to the Minster or a scenic river walk.

Felt like a true getaway, no complaints.

I got excellent value for my money at Burton Stone Inn. The room was clean, pretty, and had nice added touches like straighteners and curling tongues. The location was convenient, just a short walk into the city center of York. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay welcoming and comfortable.

The morning meal could have been improved by offering complimentary bottled water.

Had a great Xmas weekend at this hotel. the breakfast was excellent with gluten-free options, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. the location is ideal for exploring the city and nearby attractions.

The only negative for us was that the extractor fan in our room was a bit noisy. Otherwise, everything was great value for money and we had no other complaints.

Stayed at Burton Stone Inn for a weekend getaway. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly, even contacting us before our arrival to ensure the room was ready. Convenient parking and a short walk to the cathedral. The room was clean and comfortable, with nice little touches. The breakfast selection was amazing and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be returning to this lovely B&B.
