The blend of Chef and Brewer dining was fine for a one-night stay, but our room in the annexe at the back left much to be desired with noisy plumbing and lack of privacy due to maintenance issues. the staff were friendly, but the overall hotel maintenance and cleanliness need improvement. the four-poster bed in room one was a highlight, albeit with some minor issues. the hotel should focus on modernization and upgrading amenities for a better overall experience. the garden area was a nice spot for relaxation, and nearby landmarks like Broadfield House Glass Museum and Bratch Locks offered unique experiences for family bonding.

The room was cozy and had a great shower, and the team at the pub were super friendly and efficient. Spent some time chilling out in the lush garden and terrace with a drink, it was spot on. Noticed a minor thing, the window frames outside could use a bit of TLC, but overall had a top-notch stay! 🌿
