We recently stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast for a few nights. The breakfasts were outstanding, with a wide variety of options including fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, toast, and a delicious cooked breakfast. The room was clean, bright, and had a comfortable bed. We were impressed by Matthew's attentiveness and his personal touch of addressing each guest by their first name at breakfast. The location was convenient, within walking distance to shops and restaurants, and there were plenty of nearby attractions to visit. a great little place that we would highly recommend.

The room was lovely, clean, and had a nice balcony to sit out on. the breakfast was delivered to the room, which was very convenient and well-organized. the bed was comfy and the shower worked fabulously. we had a great stay.

The hosts were lovely, and the room was light and airy with a comfortable bed and a beautiful sea view. The ensuite bathroom was also spacious with plenty of hot water. The location was convenient, with shops and restaurants within walking distance, and there were plenty of places to visit nearby.

We had a fantastic weekend getaway at this cozy B&B. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and had plenty of storage space. The breakfast selection was delicious, with a great option for a full English breakfast. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location was ideal, close to the pier and town center. We will definitely be returning soon!

Spent an amazing New Year at this bed and breakfast. the breakfast was great, with many options to choose from, and the fresh fruit was very enjoyable. the staff was exceptional and provided lovely customer service. the location of the B&B was incredibly convenient.

Everything seemed to be up to par, and it was difficult to find any faults. it was an exceptional experience, and I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at a lovely quiet little hotel. the single room was spacious and clean, with a great quality toilet/shower room. the bedding was clean, comfortable, and of good quality. the breakfast selection was excellent, with plenty of fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, toast. the hosts were friendly and made us feel welcome. the location was convenient, with amenities within walking distance and a children's amusement area and fortress just across the road. We would definitely choose this hotel again when we return to the area.

I had a fantastic stay at By the Sea B&B. the room was spotless and had a wonderful balcony to enjoy the hot weather. the breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of options to choose from including a delicious fruit salad. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach. the hosts were brilliant and made sure I had everything I needed. I would definitely rebook in the future. 10/10!

Despite our late check-in, we were greeted warmly upon arrival. the room itself was impeccably clean and comfortable. the sea view from the King Room was lovely, and the spacious bathroom was a plus. We enjoyed the convenience of having a park across the B&B, leading to the beach. the location was also ideal, with a short walk to the pier, where we could begin our sightseeing trip on the Eastbourne bus. There were various restaurant options in town, and we appreciated the provided plates and trays for a convenient dining experience. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast to friends and family.

Friendly owners, offered to take me to the hospital when I fell ill during my stay. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices. Peaceful location. My son loved his room and the facilities. Thank you to the team for a perfect stay. The owner was helpful and provided a great breakfast. Room had everything we needed. Great view and sheltered balcony. Heather was a fantastic host, gave us recommendations and even surprised us with treats for our anniversary. The location is convenient with plenty of nearby dining options. a brilliant holiday week.

The rooms with balconies were a great feature, allowing me to sit out and enjoy the lovely view. The breakfast was also delicious, with plenty of options to choose from.
