Lovely owners, great rooms, best breakfast, beautiful location and walks nearby. Nice old building with modern facilities, feels like a welcome guest in their home. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast options, healthy cooking. Helpful staff, plenty of local information, bus stop opposite. Wonderful room, tasty breakfasts, made us feel welcome on our special day.

The owners were friendly and informative, providing great local recommendations. The Old House had a lovely family atmosphere and plenty of history. The breakfast was plentiful, well-cooked, and accompanied by fresh tea or coffee. Lovely and warm accommodation with a comfortable bed.

This place is fantastic! It is a little away from the hustle and bustle, but still within walking distance to all the Ironbridge tourist attractions. The location is ideal for exploring the area. The room was great, complete with a superb 4 poster bed. In the morning, we enjoyed a nice breakfast before embarking on the beautiful 1.2 mile walk to Ironbridge. The service was excellent, and the staff were very accommodating. The amenities provided, such as heating, tea and coffee facilities, and a sitting area, made our stay even more comfortable. The terrace and garden area were a lovely addition, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. a wonderful experience!

The owners were really nice and helpful, assisting with our luggage and greeting us with a cup of tea. Two pubs close by with good food and a local atmosphere. Short walk to the river. Small lounge with comfy sofa. Generous breakfasts with fruit, yogurt, and cereals. Pretty garden visible from breakfast room. Plentiful parking. Charming host willing to accommodate strange requests.

I recently stayed at a charming guest house near a picturesque river, conveniently located close to museums and a wonderful pub that serves delicious evening meals. The room was lovely and comfortable with all the amenities I needed. The service was warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The view from the breakfast room overlooking the garden was a delight. it was a delightful stay with excellent facilities and a great location.

the location was perfect, situated near some of the best pubs in the area and within walking distance of many museums. the room I stayed in, the Coach House, was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. the host, James, was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. the breakfast was outstanding, offering a variety of options. I can't wait to return to Calcultts House.

The room we stayed in was cramped, and the bathroom was a bit small. the lighting was also dim and not very comforting.

Stayed at Calcutts House for a few nights and it was a wonderful experience. The owners were incredibly helpful and made sure I had breakfast even though I had to leave early. The room had some thoughtful touches like a multiple device charging hub and the WiFi was excellent. The location was great, with easy access to restaurants and attractions. Loved the spacious and clean room with charming decor. Can't wait to come back.

I had a fantastic stay at a lovely hotel in Ironbridge. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome and helpful tips from James. The hotel itself was cozy and beautifully decorated, with a charming Alexander Brodie room that had a gorgeous four poster bed. The en suite was clean and stocked with nice-smelling toiletries. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the little Mason jars of tea, coffee, sugar, and hot chocolate were a nice touch. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of fresh fruit and peppery scrambled eggs. I also enjoyed spending time in the peaceful guest lounge, browsing through the selection of magazines and books. The hotel's location was great, just a short walk away from the town center but still quiet and with easy parking. I highly recommend visiting Calcutts House for a quiet and comfortable stay. I will definitely be coming back!
