The value for money at this guesthouse was excellent, with clean and comfortable rooms. The location was convenient, just a short walk from the train station and town center. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay.

Hotel breakfast could have been improved by adjusting the water temperature for the showers.

We arrived at the guest house to find a flat tire on our car, but Pete was quick to assist and even offered to put the spare on for us. The service was absolutely brilliant. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities we needed, including free bottled water. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The hosts, Andrea and Pete, were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. I highly recommend this guest house.

This conveniently located guest house in the heart of town provided everything we needed for a fantastic stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with coffee/tea making facilities. The friendly owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering hot chocolate for our daughter and providing excellent recommendations for local attractions and cafes. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with a wide range of options to choose from.

The shower took a little time to get hot, but the owners assured us they were in the process of upgrading the plumbing.

Absolutely fantastic value for money! The hosts went above and beyond to meet my dietary requirements, even providing special sausages and biscuits in the room. The breakfast was delicious and had plenty of flexible options. The room was clean and well-equipped, with fluffy towels and daily replacements of toiletries and bottled water. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The central location was perfect for exploring the area.

The building was a bit dated in some areas, but it was still kept spotless. During a busy weekend, I could occasionally hear noise from neighboring guests coming in late at night.

We got great value for our money at the California Guest House. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with nice extra touches like a bunk bed and a TV with Netflix for the kids. The location was convenient, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

The breakfast offerings could be improved by extending the serving time past 9.30am. Thankfully, the staff were accommodating and still provided us with breakfast when we arrived slightly late.

The breakfast of porridge and toast was excellent, setting us up for a productive day ahead. This guest house felt like a true getaway, with no complaints whatsoever.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, very close to the beach and all the attractions. It was great to be able to walk to Coral Island in just 5 minutes. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean and exceeded our expectations.

There were a few negative aspects to our stay. the breakfast was not up to par.
