I recently had the most wonderful time at a beautiful hotel in a peaceful and scenic location. the owner, Jake, was extremely nice and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant. the rooms were renovated and very comfortable, and the grounds were stunning. I especially loved sitting on the veranda. I can't wait to come back and stay at Cambus O' May again!

The hotel had a stunning setting with breathtaking views of the highlands. the room was beautifully decorated and cleaned, with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water in the bathroom. the continental breakfast was lovely, and sitting out on the terrace for afternoon drinks in the sun after a day of hiking was superb.

The atmosphere of this hotel was really unique and charming. I loved the character and history of the building, it added a special touch to my Christmas stay. the location was also fantastic, with beautiful views of the nearby river and hills. I enjoyed being able to walk to the nearby cycling/walking path and take in the stunning scenery. the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

One downside of my stay was the lack of a functioning kitchen, which meant that breakfast was limited to a continental style. While it was still adequate, it would have been nice to have more options.

I recently stayed at Cambus O' May hotel for 3 nights while exploring the beautiful countryside. The newly refurbished bedrooms were charming and the en suite facilities were pristine. The owners were very friendly and the location, just a 2-minute walk from the River Dee, was perfect for cycling and walking. The hotel's character and the comfortable beds made it a truly memorable stay.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had an incredible stay at Cambus O' May. the extended daylight allowed us to enjoy the beautiful view and garden while sipping on our drinks. the room was tastefully decorated in a traditional style, and the bathroom was impeccably restored. the staff were friendly and accommodating, and we were even greeted by an extra cute dog. the breakfast, although lacking hot choices, was adequate. we had a truly amazing experience and can't wait to return.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming Victorian country house in a gorgeous country setting. The hotel had lovely period features and interesting old furnishings. The common areas were comfortable and inviting, with sofas by a cozy fire and a pretty bar. The dining room also had a beautiful view. The bedrooms were charming and had pretty antiques, and our bed was exceptionally comfortable. The staff were warm, gracious, and funny, and truly made us feel at home. The buffet breakfast was delicious, and the hotel provided ample parking. We were also impressed with the cleanliness and the attentive service.

The hosts were wonderful and gave us a warm welcome. They even showed us around the property. The location was ideal, with Balmoral castle just a short drive away and the Cambus o May suspension bridge only 5 minutes away. The decor was unique and gave the hotel a museum-like ambiance. The room was clean and cosy, and the bathroom was lovely. The continental breakfast was perfect for us, and we enjoyed the beautiful views and walks around the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel had comfortable areas to relax and enjoy a drink. Parking was plentiful and safe, away from the road. it was a great experience.

During our Christmas stay, we liked the spacious and renovated room with a modern ensuite. the views of the river and mountains were superb, creating a tranquil atmosphere. the continental breakfast offered a great range of options, including fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, croissants, cheese.

The lack of evening meals available at the hotel. Although we had made our own arrangements, it would have been helpful for new visitors to be informed beforehand and provided with a list of local restaurants.

A relaxed breakfast with a self-serve option and a delicious fruit salad. Amazing views from the dining room. Assortment of breads and pastries, accommodating dietary requirements. Beautiful grounds with walks and a unique historical building. The bedrooms are exceptionally clean with comfortable beds and modern shower rooms. There is a guest lounge with a wood-burning stove, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. The host is welcoming and provides lots of information about local attractions. Great parking available.

Felt like home, no complaints whatsoever.
