My solo trip to this hotel was fantastic. the breathtaking views, charming gardens, and warm atmosphere made me feel right at home. the freshly cooked breakfast was a delightful touch, and the room's coziness with a generous supply of tea and coffee was perfect. the friendly and helpful staff, along with the convenient location, added to the overall memorable experience.

The Carlton Hotel in Shanklin provided a delightful stay with my 13-14 year old kids. the view from the garden was breathtaking, and the friendly staff made us feel at home. the easy access to the beach through the cliff lift was convenient, allowing us to explore Shanklin's landmarks and relax in the sun terrace and garden area, creating wonderful family bonding moments.

Superb location, fantastic view from the terrace, and the hosts were top-notch, always with a warm greeting. the garden and lounge area were perfect spots to relax, and beach access was a real bonus, making it a great spot for unwinding. Just a tad quiet as it was the end of the season, with only a few guests around, but that could be different on a weekend. 🌊

the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. the breakfast was delicious, with fresh options and a lovely view over the well-kept garden. the lounge area was cozy, and you could order drinks from the bar while enjoying the stunning sea views. the beach access was convenient, and the outdoor facilities were well-maintained.

Great value for my money with a cozy room, lovely sea views, and friendly staff. the location was perfect for exploring the area, and I felt safe and welcomed during my entire stay at the hotel.

The morning meal could be improved by offering more flexible breakfast times.

my second stay in shanklin was even better thanks to the amazing view at this cozy hotel. the friendly staff and homely atmosphere made me feel safe and welcome. freshly cooked breakfast and plenty of tea and coffee added to the experience. i would definitely go back!

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The location is fantastic, just a short walk down to the beautiful beach. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a breathtaking view of the garden. The service was friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. The lounge and outdoor facilities were also very nice and well-maintained.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. the owners made us feel like part of their family and the luxury room with a sea view was stunning. the breakfasts were delicious and there was a great selection. the bar was perfect for a drink and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. the location was also ideal, within walking distance to everything. We will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future.

Clean rooms with tea and coffee facilities, hair dryer, and daily housekeeping. Friendly owners on hand. Excellent breakfast options, including English and Vegetarian. Bar and garden with sea view. Taxis are difficult, but buses conveniently take you around the Island. Plenty of dining choices, recommend Green King pub and The Reef for low-cost family meals. Loads of fish and chip places available.
