We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The large and clean room had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom, and amenities like tea and coffee making facilities. The friendly staff provided a warm welcome and were accommodating throughout our stay. The location was convenient, with easy access to the city center either by foot or by bus. The free parking was a bonus, ensuring a hassle-free experience. we were very comfortable and happy during our two-night stay.

The bedding wasn't properly ironed and seemed to have been used before. This made it difficult to sleep comfortably.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our Christmas trip. It was conveniently situated and provided easy access to the main attractions. the free parking was a great bonus and saved us the hassle of finding a spot. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay more enjoyable.

There were a few drawbacks that affected our experience. the bathroom could have been cleaner, as there was mold around the window.

The room at Carlton Lodge was comfortable and clean, with a large bathroom and excellent towels. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially the guy with fabulous long hair at the bar. I loved the fact that the hotel had a separate building for the rooms, which meant no pub noise. The location was convenient, with a bus stop right outside and only a 1.6-mile walk to the city center. And the free parking was definitely a plus.

I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at Carlton Lodge At Carlton Tavern Free Parking. Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of natural light in the room and the low bed, these did not significantly impact my experience.

The room was comfortable and clean, with lovely crisp bed linen and plenty of hot water in the bathroom. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and the simple key system made us feel self-sufficient. The evening meal at the tavern was very good, not overdoing it. The location of the hotel was convenient, with a bus stop outside and an easy walk into the city. Plus, free parking was a bonus.

We had some issues with the communal entrance as someone locked us out, but eventually the situation was resolved. the bed mattress was really soft and uncomfortable.
