our recent stay at cascades gardens in matlock truly surpassed our expectations. the welcoming hosts, personalized breakfast and packed lunch options, and peaceful indian suite made our honeymoon trip incredibly relaxing and enjoyable.

Wifi signal in the garden suite was weak.

Convenient location near Chatsworth and Chesterfield. Peaceful and quiet setting with beautiful gardens. Spacious and comfortable room, especially the India-themed decor. Large bath ideal for tall individuals. Great breakfast and the option for a delicious evening meal at a nearby pub. Lovely personal touches and complimentary toiletries. Fascinating garden and historical features. Easy access to Peak District walking areas.

cascades gardens bed & breakfast in matlock exceeded our expectations during our honeymoon. the lovely setting, extensive garden, and friendly host with fascinating travel stories made our stay truly special. the breakfast was delicious and the nearby pub, kings head, served a great meal. the four-acre garden was a highlight and we appreciated the host's talks about it.

Entrance and parking access needs improvement.

The value for money was excellent, with a beautiful room and comfortable amenities. The location was ideal for exploring the Peak District, and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

This lovely hotel is situated in a stunning garden, designed by the owner himself. The room is spacious and comfortable, with a huge bathroom and beautiful views of the garden. The breakfast is delicious, offering a nice combination of cooked dishes and fresh fruits. The location is also ideal, being close to the festive market in Chatsworth and the greatest pub in the land.

The hosts seemed a bit reserved, which was slightly unusual for a B&B.

Stayed at this charming Bed & Breakfast for a weekend getaway. The spa bath tub in the bathroom was a luxurious touch, perfect for relaxation. The gardens, although not in full bloom in April, were still beautiful to explore. The Garden Room had a stunning waterfall outside, creating a serene atmosphere. The host, Steve, and his family were incredibly accommodating, even providing a delicious veggie breakfast. Steve gave us fantastic recommendations for exploring the nearby Peak District, including the "Heights of Abraham" with its cable car and breathtaking views.

We loved our stay at Cascades Gardens Bed & Breakfast. Alan, our host, was wonderful and the location in his beautiful gardens was perfect. The accommodation was clean, well-equipped, and the breakfast was excellent. The spa bath in the bathroom was very relaxing, although we did use up all the hot water once the tub was filled. Despite visiting in April when the gardens were not in full bloom, we still enjoyed strolling around and exploring. One highlight was the stunning waterfall outside our Garden Room, which we could admire day or night. Steve and his family were also very accommodating, even catering to our vegetarian breakfast. They provided us with plenty of information about the surrounding area and the Peak District, including recommending a visit to the "Heights of Abraham" for amazing views and guided tours of Lead Mines. it was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience, and we cannot recommend Cascades Gardens highly enough.
