The location of this hotel is fantastic, right in the town centre close to all the amenities. It is also conveniently situated in the beautiful Lake District, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

For us, it was ideal.

Convenient location, comfortable room, informative owners, clean property, good amenities.

No parking, small room , no breakfast, weather and leak issues.

I recently stayed at Holly Cottages in Bowness for a couple of work days. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town. The room on the top floor was comfortable and had everything I needed. Jan and Helen, the owners, were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. They provided great suggestions for places to eat and visit and even froze my freezer packs daily. excellent value for the money.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming guest house in the heart of Windermere. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the lake, shops, and restaurants. Our room was beautifully furnished with premium sheets and towels, and the private balcony was a lovely bonus. The owner, Nico, was incredibly hospitable and accommodating, even granting our request for an early check-in. The housekeeping was impeccable, making our return to a clean and tidy room a delight. We even received a thoughtful birthday treat during our stay. Highly recommended and we will definitely book again. a wonderful experience at Holly Cottages!

The owner/management of the property were so very friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our stay and plan to stay there again in the future. The room was nice and clean, and the balcony was large. The location of this guest house is perfect, with easy access to the village of Bowness and the beautiful lake. We enjoyed exploring the area and found everything we needed within walking distance. The prices were great and the staff at the adjacent John Peel Pub were friendly. I highly recommend this guest house for a pleasant and convenient stay.

Perfect location in the heart of town. The cottage was clean and cozy, ideal for me and my daughter. The hosts, Helen and Jan, were incredibly friendly and gave us great recommendations for places to visit. We loved exploring Windermere and the nearby attractions. Despite being on a main road, our room was quiet and peaceful. The option to leave our car in their car park after check-out was a bonus. I highly recommend this charming guest house for a warm and friendly stay.

It was great value for money and I couldn't ask for more. the owners were friendly and accommodating, and the cottage was spotlessly clean. the room was cozy with comfortable bedding and soft, large towels. the well-equipped kitchen provided milk, cereals, bread, butter, and coffee. the location was perfect, with a huge car park nearby, yet surprisingly quiet. They even had umbrellas available to use on rainy days. Plus, it was a bonus that we could bring our furry friend along!

The room we booked had a great interior with premium sheets and towels. the coffee bar in the room was a nice touch. the best part was definitely the very spacious balcony, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. the location of the hotel was fantastic, just a stone's throw away from the lake, shops, restaurants, and the bus stop. It made exploring the city extremely convenient.

The TV in our room was positioned at the side of the bed, making it uncomfortable to watch, especially when it was raining and we wanted to relax and watch some TV in the evening. It would have been much better if the TV was positioned in a more central location in the room.

loved my stay at holly cottages, even better than my last visit to bowness. fantastic location, cozy room with nice touches like a balcony and dog-friendly. hosts were friendly and welcoming. would definitely stay again!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable. The facilities provided were great, including the free parking and free wifi. The location couldn't have been better - it was right in the center of everything, close to the harbor and the town center. The staff were very welcoming and made me feel right at home.

Didn't dislike anything about the property.
