This hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways. the location couldn't have been better - right in the heart of the town center. We were able to easily explore all the attractions and grab a bus outside the hotel. The staff was fabulous, always attentive and friendly. The rooms were clean and had all the necessary facilities, including a powerful shower and a hairdryer. And let me tell you, the breakfast was absolutely amazing! The poached eggs were cooked to perfection and served on the hottest plates ever. All in all, a fantastic stay!

I stayed at Castle Gate B&B in Alnwick for a wedding at Alnwick Treehouse. The location was perfect, allowing us to walk there. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with a very comfy bed. The owner was lovely and even provided an early check-in. The breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. a great experience in a clean and nicely decorated B&B.

As old people, we loved the central location and short walk to the castle and gardens. The owner, Tracy, was incredibly helpful during a health scare. The breakfast was delicious and served on hot plates. The facilities in the room, such as the fridge and hair dryer, were convenient. Tracy and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

the parking was quite limited and it was difficult to find a space at times. as it was New Year's, there was a party going on at the hotel which made it very noisy and difficult to get a good night's sleep.

It was great to see the staff taking care of the guests and providing new towels during our stay.

My family and I had a fantastic weekend stay at Castle Gate. The family room was cozy and warm, and Tracey, the owner, greeted us with such friendliness and enthusiasm. She provided us with great recommendations for dining and drinking in the area. The breakfasts were outstanding, with a wide selection of cereals and delicious cooked items made by Tracey herself. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Despite being on the main street, we weren't too bothered by any noise. The location of the hotel was ideal, close to everything we wanted to explore in Alnwick. The overall experience was wonderful, and I would definitely recommend Castle Gate to others. I had a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed my time at the hotel.
