I stayed at Castle Lodge for a weekend getaway and had a wonderful experience. From the warm welcome to the friendly atmosphere, I felt right at home. The room was lovely, clean, and had all the necessary amenities. The wifi worked perfectly, which was a plus. The restaurant served top-notch meals, including the best homemade bread I've ever tasted. The breakfast options were extensive and delicious. The prices for food and beverages were excellent. exceptional value for money and highly recommended.

We recently stayed at a hotel in a stunning location, just a short walk from a charming town and along a beautiful river. The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The room was lovely, with all the amenities we needed, and the bed was so comfortable that we had a great night's sleep every night. The food was another highlight - excellent breakfast with a flexible choice, and we also had the option of a delicious evening meal upon our arrival.

There were a couple of minor issues that we noticed during our stay. the water pressure in the shower was quite low, although the hosts did let us know in advance and assured us that it would be resolved soon.

We had a fantastic time at Castle Lodge during our recent visit to the Wye Valley. The staff were genuinely interested in our plans and ensured our satisfaction throughout our stay. The restaurant served delicious bangers and mash, and the room was spacious and impeccably clean. Having the sink outside the bathroom was convenient, and the beds were very comfortable. We also loved the picturesque view of the river from our window every morning and evening.

The hotel facilities were great, including a nice Welsh beer on site. The breakfast served was delicious, and the staff were exceptional - always friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, just a 15-minute walk along the river to the city center of Ross-on-Wye, and great for exploring the Wye Valley area.

We recently stayed at a hotel in a beautiful location near the river. Despite being just off a major roundabout, the surroundings were surprisingly peaceful. The rooms were clean, warm, and comfortable, with plenty of well-placed sockets for convenience. The breakfast had a great choice and the host was super friendly. the hotel offered ample parking for guests.

The cleaning in the bathrooms could have been more thorough.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming hotel nestled near the river. The location, just off the A40 roundabout, made it convenient for us to explore Ross on Wye along the river. Our room was cozy and spotlessly clean with a lovely en suite, and the low ceilings gave it a unique, historic feel. The friendly and attentive management provided excellent service, and the delicious breakfast offered a variety of options. We also appreciated the well-stocked tea and coffee facilities in the room.

While the ceilings were a bit low, causing our tall friends to watch out, it added to the hotel's character.

The staff were so friendly and made us feel really welcome. the meals were absolutely delicious, especially the breakfast. the room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view over the river. the location was perfect, with a scenic walk to the town along the river. a delightful experience.

The traffic noise from the nearby road was quite noticeable, even during the early hours. the smaller room we had was a bit hot and opening the windows meant more noise from the road.

Quirky yet modern rooms, delicious breakfast and dinner. Welcoming hosts and ample hot water. Cozy and spacious bedrooms with character. Lovely scenery nearby and a pleasant walk to town center.

As longer term business travelers, we appreciated the helpfulness and accommodation of the host, Georgina. The full English breakfast was delicious and well-prepared, with plenty of orange juice and coffee. The comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. The individuality of the rooms, located on different levels in the old building, added to the charm of our stay. The ample car parking was a great convenience.

The food was of pretty good quality and the staff were very friendly and attentive. the location was also convenient, with easy access to walk into town.

It smelled odd and was not as clean as we would have liked. the bathroom was outdated and lacked a shower attachment.
