The location was excellent, within walking distance to the city center and all its attractions. the rooms were comfortable and had all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay.

The lack of air conditioning in the rooms was a major drawback, especially during the heatwave. It made for uncomfortable nights and the need for cold showers just to cool down.

Great location opposite the Science Museum and close to the Canal Basin and MOSI. Comfortable rooms with clean facilities. Guests have access to the excellent YMCA gym. Friendly staff and a delicious breakfast that rivals most 4-star hotels. A variety of beverages available, including a well-chosen brand of coffee.

Felt right at home, with attentive and accommodating staff. Nothing was too much trouble.

Recently stayed overnight at Castlefield and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel also offered a 24-hour bar and a free shuttle bus service to the city centre. Another nice touch was the option to store luggage after check-out free of charge.

We had a fantastic stay at Castlefield and were delighted with the spacious and comfortable room. The extra amenities like extra pillows, iron, and biscuits were a nice touch. The location was perfect, with beautiful views of the canal and easy access to nearby attractions. We also appreciated that our stay supported the YMCA. Although the bathroom wasn't completely wheelchair accessible, we made it work. we had a great experience and would definitely consider staying again.

We appreciated the complimentary mince pies and mulled wine upon arrival, which were perfect for getting in the Christmas spirit. the central location made it easy to explore the city and enjoy the festivities. Plus, the free Wi-Fi was a nice bonus that allowed us to stay connected with friends and family.

The bed was uncomfortable and made up of two single beds pushed together, creating an uncomfortable crease in the middle. the bathroom was not properly cleaned and had a temperamental shower that kept going cold.

The location of the hotel was superb, as it was conveniently near the Science Museum that we wanted to visit. However, we were disappointed to find out that the entire city centre roads were closed for an event, making it difficult for us to get around by car. Nevertheless, the hotel's proximity to the city centre was a bonus as it made it easy for us to take a taxi to the 02 Apollo where we attended a concert.

One negative aspect of our stay was that there was a bag of dirty towels by the lift throughout the day and night, which was not a pleasant sight for guests.

The location is interesting, near Deansgate Station and easily accessible to other hotels. The rooms are well-equipped with all the necessary facilities and offer a nice view. The breakfast served here is delicious, with vegetarian sausages and even dairy-free options available. Plus, the prices are very competitive, providing great value for money.

The room we were assigned initially had twin beds instead of a double bed, but the hotel staff quickly rectified the situation when we approached them. The location of the hotel is fantastic, with a short 10-15 minute walk to the city center and competitive parking prices. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as missing bathroom amenities and a lack of heating controls in the room, our overall experience was pleasant. The gym and breakfast were both satisfactory, and the cleanliness of the room exceeded our expectations. I would recommend this hotel for its great location and decent facilities.
