The room I stayed in was clean, well-appointed, and surprisingly comfortable, considering it had a shared bathroom. The attention to detail was evident, with basic amenities provided and a lovely selection of tea and coffee facilities. The included continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with a wide range of options including fresh fruit salad and delicious bacon or sausage baguette.

The street noise can occasionally be bothersome, especially for those sensitive to noise at night.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right in the main square of Canterbury so very conveniently located. We had a wonderful view of the cathedral which was only a few tens of yards away. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The room was cozy and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

Although the room was lovely and warm, the bathroom was freezing as it had no heat.

The breakfast was really good and delivered on time, which was perfect for my early morning meetings. I also appreciated the complimentary toiletries and refreshments that were replenished daily. the location was excellent, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby and easy access to all the main attractions.

The lack of a lift made it difficult for me to carry my luggage up and down the stairs. some of the windows were a bit tricky to open and close.

The rooms were upgraded to doubles, good size. Friendly and helpful staff. Great view of the cathedral. Modern and clean bathroom. Comfortable bed. Good choice of continental breakfast. Fabulous location. Great restaurant options.

Fantastic historic hotel located right next to Canterbury Cathedral with remarkable views. Clean rooms with excellent shower facilities. Delicious breakfast with fresh fruits, good tea, and the best croissants and strawberry jam. Meticulously clean and with friendly and helpful hosts who looked after bags, arranged car parking permits, and couldn't do enough to make the stay enjoyable. A period building with comfortable beds.
