The walk down to the pond is idyllic, providing a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. The reception staff are friendly and efficient, ensuring a warm welcome. the breakfast is delightful, with huge sausages and attentive staff in the restaurant.

The limited evening menu was not to my liking, so I had to dine elsewhere during my stay.

I recently stayed at Cave Castle for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The location was excellent, with plenty of character in the building. The breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of continental and full English options. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, and all the necessary amenities were provided, including an iron, hairdryer, and kettle. The restaurant had a great menu, and the service was excellent, accompanied by enjoyable background music. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and hope to return one day.

The location was fabulous, allowing us to enjoy lovely walks in the countryside and it was not too far from the town.

The only minor issue was that the room we stayed in was a bit small for two adults, but this won't put us off from going back.

There were a few negative aspects of the hotel experience. Some of the rooms lacked natural light, with small opaque windows that faced a wall, making the rooms gloomy and airless.

We loved the parking and the friendly check-in desk staff. The tea and coffee in the room was a nice touch. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic! We also made friends with a local couple who recommended the castle for drinks.

We felt really lucky to have found this gem of a hotel. No complaints at all!
