Jane and David, our hosts, were incredibly kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. the guest house itself is beautiful, with rooms that exude warmth and comfort. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, from the different compliment whisky carafes to the luxurious toiletries. We loved the restful guest lounge, stocked with a variety of drinks. the breakfast was a true highlight, offering a delicious variety of locally sourced dishes.

Located just outside the town, Ceol Na Mara Guest House is conveniently near the ferry terminal, making it easy to access. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, offering a variety of choices for guests. The rooms are immaculate, with small touches like locally sourced toiletries and beautiful decanters of drinks. The hosts provide excellent service, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The breakfast options are plentiful, with homemade delights such as granola and yogurt. Guests can also enjoy the lovely view of the loch from some rooms.

The DVD and CD collection in the lounges is not well-stocked, limiting entertainment options for guests.

We stayed at Ceol Na Mara Guest House for a few nights while exploring Harris. Jane and Dave, our hosts, were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay special. They even treated us to a seafood platter so we could enjoy watching the Open Golf. The room was spacious and comfortable, breakfasts were delicious, and the location was perfect. Lovely room with an amazing view and well-equipped welcome tray. the hosts were friendly and full of knowledge. They even gave us a lift to the pub, which was a nice touch.

Missing breakfast due to catching an early ferry was a downside, although the hosts kindly provided us with a packed breakfast to take with us.
