The value for money was excellent, with a beautiful room and great amenities. The location was convenient and the staff were friendly and attentive.

The hotel is situated in a lovely location next to a picturesque golf course, offering beautiful views of the Essex countryside. Guests can enjoy a short walk to an excellent restaurant nearby, and it is also conveniently close to the city centre of Chelmsford. The rooms are comfortable, with spacious wardrobes, and some even come with added amenities like ironing boards and mini-fridges. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, complete with guest bathrobes. The staff is friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service. The breakfast options are varied and delicious, with helpful staff accommodating special dietary needs.

Some guests noted occasional noise disturbances from other guests in neighboring rooms during the night, but this is not a common occurrence.

The design, comfort, and staff are excellent. The surroundings are peaceful and independent. The room has a heated floor and great facilities. Breakfast is delicious and cooked to order.

The room was spacious and well-decorated, with a large bathroom and provided toiletries, robes, and slippers. the complimentary refreshments, including a variety of teas, Costa Coffee, and Hot Chocolate, were a nice touch. the breakfast was delicious, with freshly cooked options and plentiful servings. the location was also great, situated in a peaceful area within a golf course.

There were no clear signs in the car park, making it difficult to find the lodges, especially at night. Some additional lighting in the car park area would have been helpful.

Everything was spot on.

We stayed at Channels for a one night Anniversary celebration and it was a perfect fit. The hotel is surrounded by lovely, quiet surroundings and our room was comfortable and well-equipped. The staff were extremely friendly and the restaurant, just a short walk away, offered a good selection of relaxed pub and restaurant menu options. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere was welcoming. We also appreciated the extra touches and the cleanliness of the rooms. We will definitely be back for another visit!

I had a lovely stay at Channels Hotel. The room I stayed in, The Blackthorn, was spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was stunning, with a large standalone bath. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, making sure all my needs were met. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of fresh fruit, cereals, and a delicious full English breakfast. I had a fantastic experience at Channels Hotel and would highly recommend it.

During my Xmas stay, I liked the spacious and well-lit lodge room, which had a good-sized bathroom complete with decent toiletries. the lodge's location adjacent to a golf course offered a peaceful and beautiful environment to relax. the morning breakfast was great, and the staff were welcoming and very friendly.

Staying here was an absolute delight! From the moment I checked in, I was warmly welcomed by the staff and immediately shown to my immaculate and cozy room. The room itself had everything I needed and more, including a high powered fan and a heater for added comfort. I was pleasantly surprised to find fresh cows milk and Costa filtered coffee provided, giving me that extra boost in the morning. The bathroom facilities were fantastic, with a shower and bath located conveniently in the center of the room. The highlight of my stay was the incredible evening meal, especially on the Thai night. The food was absolutely delicious!

I had to leave early in the morning and unfortunately couldn't stay for breakfast, but I can only imagine it would have been as fantastic as the rest of my stay. I had a wonderful one night stay in this luxurious hotel.
