The staff was amazing, friendly and welcoming. The guest house had character and our room was comfortable, spacious, and clean. The location was perfect for visiting Rosslyn Chapel. The nearby pub served excellent food.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to have a chat or provide information. The room we were in was newly furnished, spacious, and modern. The location was very convenient, with bus stops right next to the hotel for easy travel to Edinburgh city centre. Additionally, the hotel was very close to the beautiful Roslyn chapel and a lovely pub across the street.

The location was great for exploring the nearby attractions. It was very convenient to have a direct bus route to the city just outside the hotel. We also liked the cozy sitting area in our room, perfect for relaxing after a busy day.

Our Christmas stay was not enjoyable. the room was freezing and we had to request extra blankets to keep warm.

Our stay at Chapel Cross was thoroughly enjoyable. The room was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed, including a comfortable bathroom with good water pressure. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The location was picturesque, with a lovely view from our bedroom window. We even decided to extend our stay by an extra night because we loved it so much.

The morning meal could have been improved by offering more breakfast options.

The guesthouse is conveniently located near a busy pub, offering entertainment and drinks options. It is also situated in the main area of town, making it easy to access shops and amenities. it is a short distance away from Edinburgh centre, allowing for convenient day trips.

The room was advertised as king size but turned out to be cramped and the furniture was poor quality.

My friends and I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. we were impressed with the value for money; the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the accommodation. Secondly, the attention to detail was fantastic; the new decor in the bedrooms gave a fresh and modern feel, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Lastly, the location was perfect; just a short walk to Rosslyn Chapel and with a lovely view of the surrounding forest area. Also, the breakfast served in the coffee shop attached to the property was delicious, with a good selection to choose from.

What a fantastic place! We stayed for a couple of nights and couldn't recommend Chapel Cross Guesthouse highly enough. The room and sitting area were lovely and extremely clean. The staff were friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. We enjoyed great value breakfast at the café within the guesthouse. Having the Inn across the road was a bonus, especially for drinks on sunny evenings. The dinner in the Inn was faultless. An amazing find and we look forward to returning in the future.
