The room at this lovely cosy pub/hotel was amazing value for the money we paid, clean, modern, and well furnished. The staff couldn't do enough for us and made us feel welcome. The location was ideal, situated in a quiet area next to the racecourse with great dog walking options.

The breakfast selection could have had a bit more choice for those who prefer continental options like croissants, baguettes, or fresh fruit salad.

The location of the Charlcombe Inn was perfect for exploring Bath, as it was just a short drive away from the Park and Ride. The rooms were spacious and spotless, providing a comfortable stay. The food at the restaurant exceeded our expectations, with excellent quality and a good selection. The service and communication from the staff were top-notch, and they were always willing to assist. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location, cleanliness, and exceptional service.

During our stay, we loved the convenient location of the hotel, as it was just a short drive away from a beautiful park. The fact that the hotel was situated right next to a racecourse added to the charm, and in the summer, we could even see the racecourse just beyond the fence. Our room, nestled in one of the old barns away from the pub, was both clean and well-decorated. The bathroom had excellent water pressure in the shower, and the bed was super comfy. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious, with freshly cooked options available.

One minor downside was the traffic noise during the night, especially when we had our windows open.

The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short drive away from the city center and with beautiful surroundings. the room we stayed in was new and spotless, with a comfortable bed and an excellent shower. the staff were friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious with lots of options to choose from. the dining area had lovely views and the food was of a good standard.

The messy ensuite wetroom, which could have easily had a shower cubicle for a neater experience. We also had to ask for tea/coffee/milk as housekeeping didn't come by.

The room was very comfortable and clean, with modern finishes. We had a great night's sleep as it was very quiet, and the sirloin steak dinner was excellent. the hotel's location was ideal, just a short cab ride away from the city center.

The shower was a bit precarious as there were no handles or grip on the floor and the shower temperature was difficult to control. the coffee served was instant.

This stay exceeded my expectations. the rooms were spacious and well equipped, with a stunning bathroom and giant shower. the breakfast was large and cooked to perfection. the service from the staff was exceptional. the location was excellent, with easy access to a nearby Park and Ride. Another advantage was the quality of the food in the restaurant, which was exquisite.

We were not informed about the busy race day event happening nearby, which resulted in a noisy evening in the pub and loud guests in the accommodation throughout the night. the open plan shower caused the floor to be constantly wet, and there was no mop or squeezy mop provided to dry it out.

The recently built courtyard rooms at this hotel were excellent, with a very high standard of finish and cleanliness that impressed us. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We were particularly pleased with the delicious breakfasts, which gave us the perfect start to our days exploring the beautiful area. It was also a bonus to find that this hotel is dog-friendly, with lovely little touches like dog treats in the rooms.
