Appleshaw is the epitome of an English village, and this hotel is conveniently located there. The rooms offer stunning views across the fields, creating a tranquil atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the basic amenities are provided, including tea making items. I was especially impressed with the breakfast options, as they catered to my gluten-free diet by offering sausages and bread.

We had a great experience at this lovely B&B. the owners were incredibly accommodating and made us feel welcome. the room was clean, comfortable, and had a nice view of the fields. We appreciated the fresh tap water provided in a sealed bottle. Tea and coffee were also available in the room. the ensuite bathroom was clean and the bed was very comfortable. the B&B also provided a folder with local event information and WiFi details.

The highlight of my stay was definitely the full English breakfast, cooked to perfection and served at my preferred time. And the fresh coffee was a much-appreciated touch. I highly recommend Cleaver Cottage for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Despite a few drawbacks, such as limited vegetarian options and no information about the wifi on check-in, we found the overall experience to be enjoyable and good value for money. This place is fantastic! It's in a little village 2 miles away, easy to find with plenty of parking. The room was spacious and well equipped, with a TV and WiFi. The only negative was the steep stairs leading to the bedrooms, which could pose a challenge for some guests with mobility issues. the mattresses in one of the rooms may need to be updated as they were a bit uncomfortable.
