The value for money at the guesthouse was great, with a comfortable room and all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect for a leisurely walk to the city centre and the staff, especially Arthur, were incredibly helpful and friendly.

The breakfast offerings could be improved by adding more variety to the menu.

loved our recent stay in york. clifton bridge guesthouse was fantastic - great location, yummy breakfast, and spacious family room. perfect for our 3 kids. highly recommend it!

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay in this guesthouse. the staff were friendly and helpful, offering to drive us to the city when we arrived. the room was clean, cozy, and the bed was super comfortable. We also enjoyed a tasty and filling breakfast. the location was convenient, with easy access to the city center and a picturesque walk along the river.

The cleanliness of the bathroom could have been better, as we noticed some dirty drops and fingerprints on the walls and door. we couldn't adjust the heater and had to keep the window open to regulate the temperature.

the location was superb, just a short walk along the picturesque river to the heart of the city. Secondly, the rooms were comfortable and had everything I needed, including a king-size bed and tea/coffee facilities. Lastly, the breakfast at 08.30 was a great way to start the day, with a variety of options included. Oh, and the prices were very reasonable too!

The service could have been better as some things were not explained, leading to confusion. there were some issues with the room, which could have been avoided with better maintenance.

We recently stayed at a guesthouse in York and had a wonderful time. The room was comfortable, with tea, coffee, and even bottles of water provided. The shower was surprisingly spacious, and the breakfast selection was one of the best we've had. The location was also convenient, with just a short walk to the town center. we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this guesthouse for anyone visiting York.

The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. And let's not forget about the breakfast - it was superb! With a variety of options, including continental, cereal, and a full English breakfast, there was something for everyone. The food was delicious and the service from the staff was quick and responsive. a wonderful experience that I highly recommend.
