The carefully selected farmhouse style furniture and bone-handled knives added to the authentic ambiance. The bar, serving, and kitchen staff were all friendly and provided excellent service. The range of dishes and wines offered was impressive, and the food was of high quality with generous portion sizes. The prices were reasonable, comparable to a restaurant. The accommodation above the bar and in the adjoining cottage was clean, modern, and well-sized. Despite some noise from downstairs during opening hours, it didn't deter me from staying again. The breakfast was tasty and filling, and the location on the edge of Cranbourne Chase was delightful.

A pleasant surprise in the countryside. The stunning area provided peaceful dog walks right from our doorstep. The staff at the pub were brilliant - accommodating and friendly. The breakfast served was excellent, and the location was perfect. Even though there were a few drawbacks, we would still recommend this hotel.
