We had a smooth check-in process and were promptly shown to our room. Although it wasn't initially what we expected, a helpful staff member named Archie quickly resolved the issue and provided us with the room we had booked. the whirlpool for two in our en suite was a delightful addition to our stay, making it feel extra special. the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. the breakfast included in our stay was of excellent quality, with a wide variety of choices. the staff were friendly and welcoming, leaving us with a positive impression of Oaksmere. the hotel's quiet location and ample parking space were also appreciated. the beautiful grounds added to the overall pleasant experience.

We had a fantastic experience at Oaksmere! the executive suite was incredibly charming with doors that opened up to a cute garden. the bedroom was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. We loved the modern and clean bathroom, which featured a jacuzzi bath and a nice shower. the staff were very attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. the restaurant was also very pretty and served delicious food, including a great breakfast. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back!

We had an incredible stay at this hotel! The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel facilities were excellent, including the spa bath that could fit two people. We loved the tastefully decorated interior and the beautiful grounds. The location was perfect for walking and exploring nearby towns like Diss. The staff were amazing and the restaurant served delicious food. Everything was clean and up to date, from the lighting to the bathroom fittings. We also enjoyed the convenience of on-site parking.

The value for money at Oaksmere was unbeatable, with well-priced basic rooms that still had all the necessary equipment. The location had a nice warm feel and the staff were incredibly helpful and polite.

Spent Christmas at a hotel in Suffolk and it was great! Two things I loved the most were the cozy atmosphere around the fireplace and the friendly staff. the location was also perfect, close enough to town for convenience but far enough to feel secluded. the Christmas decorations completed the feel!

The heating in the hotel was inconsistent, sometimes getting too hot or too cold. It was also quite pricey for the food and drinks offered, which took away from the holiday budget.

We decided to book a weekend break at this hotel as it seemed to have a good location for exploring the surrounding areas. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The grounds of the hotel were lovely to walk around and the Italian owner made us feel welcome.

The weekend retreat had a relaxed and informal atmosphere, with friendly staff and high-quality furnishings and décor. The menu had delicious choices, featuring perfectly cooked, on-site butchered meat. The beautiful grounds and tastefully decorated interior made for a comfortable stay.

Located in a peaceful setting with stunning grounds, The Oaksmere offers a perfect mix of old and new. The rooms are beautifully decorated with modern amenities, including a whirlpool in the Cornwallis Suite. The rainfall shower in the bathroom adds a luxurious touch. The staff, led by helpful receptionist Kerry, provide excellent service and are accommodating to guests' requests. The breakfast menu offers a good variety of choices. the hotel boasts a large pirate ship that children can enjoy playing on.

Some areas of the hotel, such as the top of the desk/drawer unit, show signs of water stains, which could be improved.

The service provided by the staff was top-notch, from the room service to the housekeeping. We were warmly welcomed with a refreshing drink upon arrival. The room amenities were excellent, including ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities. We enjoyed spending time on the terrace with comfortable garden furniture, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The hotel also offered a variety of dining options, including a restaurant where we had a delicious breakfast and dinner. The staff was amazing, always polite and ready to assist us. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
