We had such a wonderful time at Coundon Lodge. Regina, our super host, made us feel right at home. We were grateful for her warm hospitality, especially during our late-night check-in. The bedroom was cozy and we loved being able to relax and watch a TV programme. The shared bathroom was clean and we appreciated having a long shower without any interruptions. The comfortable bed and provided towels were the perfect finishing touches. The lodge's location was stunning, with beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. On top of that, the onsite parking and proximity to nearby pubs made our stay even more convenient. it truly felt like our home away from home for the night.

We arrived late and there was no one at reception. We rang the doorbell and called the provided phone number, but got no response. It was a bit nerve-wracking, but thankfully the owner showed up eventually. The place is in need of renovations, but it's mostly cosmetic. My upgraded room had noisy pipes that woke me up in the night, but overall, I had a lovely time. The grounds are beautiful and I enjoyed learning about the house's history.

I got great value for my money with a comfortable room and immaculate facilities. The location was perfect, offering peacefulness and beautiful views. The staff, Regina and Brian, were warm, friendly, and accommodating. Definitely recommended, especially for pet owners like me.

The only thing that could make the breakfast better would be to have it arranged and included in the stay.

Coundon Lodge surpassed my expectations in every way. the peaceful surroundings and stunning garden with a pond full of dragonflies made for a truly serene experience. the host, Regina, was incredibly helpful and friendly, even offering us a lift into town. the accommodations were excellent, with a well-equipped kitchen and ample facilities.

I absolutely loved the peaceful and tranquil location of Coundon Lodge. The beautiful grounds and terrace were the perfect spots to relax and unwind. The hosts, Regina and Brian, were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. It was a bonus that they happily accepted my beloved labrador to stay with me. My room was immaculate, with a comfortable double bed and stunning views from the window. I also appreciated the well-stocked tea and coffee facilities, including a Nespresso machine. The shared kitchen had everything I needed to cook delicious meals, with plenty of condiments and a spacious fridge freezer. The 17th-century house itself was full of rich history and charm, with a magnificent carved wood fireplace and a grand staircase. I would highly recommend this wonderful place, especially for pet lovers, as they are warmly embraced too.
