Our stay at the hotel was fantastic. The location was ideal for exploring the beautiful Lake District, with great access to bus and train stations. The room was spacious, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The hotel’s parking facilities were convenient. The breakfast provided was enjoyable and gave us a good start to the day. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the small portions of breakfast and the lack of double glazing causing some noise in the mornings, overall I would highly recommend this hotel. The friendly and helpful staff, along with the clean and well-maintained bathrooms, made our stay a pleasant one.

I stayed at County in Kendal for a few nights for work. The staff were extremely friendly, accommodating my early breakfast needs and providing a free cup of tea on arrival. The room was basic but met all my requirements. Being on the top floor, the view was fantastic and I enjoyed the music events in the evening. The bathroom was nice and everything was clean and orderly. The prime location near the train station was a major convenience.

The hotel's location was also ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

We had a fantastic stay at County Hotel in Kendal for 2 nights. The manager and staff were lovely, especially the bar and breakfast staff. The rooms were immaculate, with comfortable and clean beds. The bathroom had a unique light on the mirror, and the room was spacious with a settee and TV. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station. The hotel offered free parking, and the breakfast was fabulous. The hospitality shown by the waitresses was outstanding, making it a perfect stay for everyone.

Fantastic location, with shops, markets, and restaurants in Lake District. Only a 15 mins drive to main attractions in Windermere Lake. Staff were super friendly, flexible with food requests, and provided all additional needs. Highly recommend for LD trips with friends and family. Recently refurbished room with a huge bathroom. Budget hotel, but could have spent a week and been happy.

County Hotel Kendal is a great choice for families. Its location in the centre of town and close to the train station makes it convenient for exploring. The recently refurbished rooms are spacious and have huge bathrooms, providing a comfortable stay. The staff are helpful and kind, offering excellent service. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning and take advantage of the hotel's facilities, such as the sweet housekeepers.

The noise from the air conditioning unit outside the bedroom window can be a bit disruptive.

My second stay at County Hotel and once again, we were pleasantly surprised. The recently refurbished room had a huge bathroom and plenty of storage space. The staff were really helpful and kind, going above and beyond to provide us with an extra early breakfast. The location is great, just a couple of minutes' walk to the river and into the town of Kendal. Parking is available across the road and we appreciated the free parking. a budget hotel that exceeded our expectations.

The restaurant can get quite noisy due to everyone chatting, and there may be a slight delay in service due to the high demand.

The receptionist was polite and welcoming. The room was basic but comfortable, with a travelcot provided as requested. The room temperature was pleasant and we had a good night's sleep. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station and city center. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the value for money was excellent.
