I had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel overlooking the picturesque Campbeltown Loch. The staff at Craigard House were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. The breakfast menu offered a great variety of options, with deliciously cooked meals that were simply perfection. The breathtaking scenery surrounding the hotel added to the overall charm of the place. Sitting outside with a beer, taking in the stunning views, was an unforgettable experience. I couldn't fault the excellent breakfast and the warm hospitality provided by the staff. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a fabulous bathroom that had both a bath and a shower. All in all, it was a delightful stay that I would highly recommend.

As a tourist, I absolutely loved the stunning lake view from my room. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast options were varied and delicious, with the eggs Benedict being a standout. The hotel restaurant offered a diverse and reasonably priced menu, perfect for foodies. The decor throughout the guest house, including a beautiful stained glass window on the staircase, added a unique and appealing charm to the experience.

During our four-day stay at this charming period house, we were warmly welcomed and found our room and spacious bathroom to be clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were pleasant, friendly, and always willing to assist us. The location of the hotel, overlooking the loch, provided breathtaking views, especially during our morning walks along the waterside. The breakfast and dinner menus offered a variety of delicious dishes, with the fish options being a particular highlight. The hotel's history, as described in the room literature, added an interesting touch to our stay.

Some delays in service occurred during peak times, leading to a wrong meal arriving on one occasion.

The panoramic vista of the Loch was simply breathtaking. The walk from the town centre was a pleasant one, passing by big houses and beautiful gardens. The hotel itself was nice and clean, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I was even upgraded to a larger room for free, which was a lovely surprise. The young waiter who helped with my luggage and arranged a taxi in the morning was exceptional. The food at the hotel was also very good and the rooms were clean and pleasant. The fresh lilies at reception added a touch of elegance, making me feel like a valued guest. this hotel deserves a 4* rating.

We had a delightful stay at Craigard House. The staff attended to our every whim and the views from the dining room were fantastic. The food was delicious and plentiful, highly recommended. The location was perfect, just a short 10-minute walk into town or a beautiful walk in the opposite direction along the seaside countryside. The bedroom was tastefully decorated and comfortable, with a lovely en-suite. a truly enjoyable stay.
