Had an amazing time at this hotel in Ettrickbridge End! the cozy pub has been recently renovated and looks fantastic. the staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. the restaurant served delicious food, and they even catered to special dietary requirements.

One tiny thing that could be improved is the heating in the rooms, as it took some time for it to warm up properly. a minor inconvenience that didn't overshadow the great experience we had here.

The food at the inn was delicious, the service was attentive and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was charming and welcoming. the issue with the heating in the room was a major drawback to an otherwise pleasant stay.

stayed at a lovely b&b in the countryside of ettrickbridge end, had the best time at a long weekend at the cross keys. comfy beds, great view, and friendly staff made our stay perfect. starting from the breakfast to the helpful staff, everything resonated with us. we can't wait to return for winter!

Had a jolly good time over Christmas! the food was scrumptious, freshly made and bursting with flavor. the welcoming atmosphere and clean rooms, complete with Earl Grey tea, made it feel like a real treat. the beautiful country location, ideal for walks and close to stunning landmarks, was a highlight.

There were a few hiccups. Initially, the room we were given was freezing cold due to a heating issue.

Despite a minor issue with the electrics, the overall cleanliness and recent renovations made for a pleasant stay. Nearby landmarks like Ettrick Water and Aikwood Tower offered relaxing walks and historical exploration, enhancing the overall experience for family bonding.

At my favorite stay, staff kindly arranged early check-in. This spot suits me perfectly with essential free parking, 24-hour security, cozy bar and restaurant. I enjoy a welcome drink, snacks, board games, and a warm atmosphere. Coming back soon for holidays.
