The hotel is very conveniently located in the town centre of Blandford, making it easy to explore the charming Georgian market town. The staff at this hotel are welcoming and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms are comfortable, with well-functioning bathrooms and comfortable beds. The air conditioning was a nice addition, ensuring a pleasant temperature during our stay.

The only minor drawback we experienced was the lack of alternative options for breakfast.

The room was beautifully decorated in early 1900's style, with modern facilities. The family suite was spacious and the bathroom renovated beautifully. The automatic nightlight in the bathroom was a thoughtful touch. The heating/cooling system was excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable, a king size. One of the best rooms we have stayed in across Australia, Europe, and the UK. We wished we could have stayed longer!

I recently stayed at the Crown Hotel in Blandford Forum for my niece's wedding. The hotel had great character and the rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the staff, specifically Christine, Rob, and Vincent. The restaurant catered for vegans, which was fantastic, and the food was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to explore the old town and the surrounding area. the service and experience were excellent, and I will definitely stop here again if I am in the area.

Noisy outside at night.

I recently stayed at a dog-friendly hotel with a fantastic restaurant and bar area. We opted for the family room to give our furry friend more space to move around. The room itself was great, but there was some noise from a door slamming downstairs every morning at 6 am. Additionally, the recycling of bottles starting at 9 am added to the overall noise level. However, despite these minor inconveniences, the hotel's setting was lovely, especially the perfect outdoor seating area. The friendly atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for a dog-friendly getaway with great dining options and a beautiful ambiance.
