The breakfast was amazing, easily one of the best I have ever had. The shower had great pressure and the room was comfortable and spacious. Perfectly located in the village, close to the station and seafront. Car parking was plentiful and easy to find.

I stayed at this gem of a hotel with friends for a weekend getaway, and it exceeded all expectations. The service was top-notch, on par with the best hotels in the world. The décor was stunning, the rooms were impeccably clean and well-equipped, and the views from the windows were breathtaking. The breakfast was delightful, with a good variety of options. The hosts even went above and beyond by driving us to Gosforth when we couldn't find a taxi. I would highly recommend this hotel for its fantastic hosts, comfortable rooms, and excellent dining options.

We only stayed one night but the Lodge was excellent. Onsite free parking. Lovely garden with outside tables. Immaculately clean, TV, comfy bed and tea/coffee in our room. The owners were extremely warm and welcoming, treating us like family. Good breakfast selection. Great base for visiting local attractions in the Lake District. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

The hotel's location, just a few minutes from the beach and within easy reach of picturesque peaks, made it a perfect choice. We came to Cumbrian Lodge for a hiking trip in the Lake District and had a fantastic stay. The hotel was clean, well-situated, and had ample parking. The owner was pleasant and the staff were friendly upon our arrival. Our room was impeccably clean and the outside area was beautiful. Although we didn't have the chance to try the included breakfast, the owners noticed and made us bacon butties and juice to take with us in the morning. The attention to detail and kindness of the owners left us amazed. We can't wait to come back and fully experience the hotel and its amazing food. Highly recommended!

The room we stayed in was a bit smaller than we expected based on the website photos, but it was still cozy and comfortable. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a mirror in the bedroom for using the hairdryer.
