The location was breathtaking, with stunning views. the room was recently refurbished to a high standard, and the bed was incredibly comfy, providing a good night's sleep.

Lack of staff on site made it difficult to get help. amenities like heating and bedding were inadequate, and the place felt more like a self-service guest house than a proper hotel.

the view from the room was stunning! modern decor, fantastic shower, and a kitchen too! the only bummer was the limited breakfast options. But everything else? chefs kiss 👌🏼🌟.

The standalone bath and power shower in the room were divine, feeling like a luxurious oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of travel. It was like having a personal spa retreat right in the comfort of my own room.

the quality of the room was top notch, almost like a 5* hotel. high-quality fixtures and fittings, comfortable bed, powerful shower. very clean with a lovely view of the quay. secure parking and a great space for our dog to exercise. a real find that we'll return to when heading to the Hebrides.

The view of the Clyde and marina from our renovated room in the secure gated area was lovely. The common room had comfortable sofas and tables. It's close to Dumbarton and a short distance from Glasgow, making it a great weekend getaway. The stylish and clean rooms, as well as the friendly cafe nearby, made our stay enjoyable.

Located on the banks of the canal and Clyde River, the Custom House Hotel Bowling offers beautiful surroundings for a relaxing stay. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, with a great water pressure in the showers. The exterior of the building is stunning, providing a pleasant view while enjoying your stay.

I recently stayed at Custom House for a short break and I couldn't have been happier. The rooms were exceptional, each one individually decorated and absolutely stunning. The high standard of the rooms and general decor was top-notch, and the shower was excellent. The location was peaceful with beautiful views over the Clyde. The self-service breakfast room was convenient, stocked with basic food items, and had a microwave and toaster for guest use. The bed was very comfortable, and the radiators kept the room warm and toasty during the winter.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

I have to say, I got excellent value for my money at this hotel. The room was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities I needed, including a powerful shower and a tea/coffee station. The location was lovely, right by the Forth and Clyde canal with beautiful views. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and I appreciate that they allowed pets and provided plenty of local walks for my furry friend. Plus, there was a nice breakfast room where I could help myself to cereal and toast.

The food for breakfast could have been better.
