We were absolutely blown away by this hotel! The location amidst the beautiful gardens and forest was just breathtaking. We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of the town, and the views from the top of the hill were stunning. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, with housekeeping and laundry services ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. The room amenities exceeded our expectations, with a cozy sitting area, a dining table, and even a lovely patio with garden furniture. We were impressed by the attention to detail and the provision of everything we needed, from free toiletries to an electric kettle.

I recently stayed at a guest house nestled in a tranquil forest, just a short drive from beautiful Swansea and Cardiff. The peaceful surroundings, with the soothing sound of streams and birdsong, made me feel like I had escaped to another world. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, and shower gels. The staff member went above and beyond, even giving me a lift to the train station when I couldn't find a taxi. it was a great place to stay, and I was fortunate to have sunny weather during my visit.

Unfortunately for me, there were a few downsides. the noise of dripping water on the roof kept me awake at night, which was quite frustrating.

I had a wonderful stay at this hidden gem. The cottage I stayed in was beautifully decorated and situated in a peaceful location. The separate bedroom and living area was perfect for my family, allowing us to have a quiet evening together while our child slept. The owner was extremely friendly and gave us great recommendations for places to visit with our son. The breakfast at the guest house was delicious and the owner had excellent local knowledge. The decked area overlooking the valley was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the views. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.

Additionally, there is a country park nearby, perfect for those who enjoy outdoor walks.

The view from my room was stunning, it made me feel I was in touch with nature. the breakfast was amazing, I had a good variety of choices to eat. the location was key for my work trip, as it was easy to access different parts of the city.

The towels in the bathroom had a bit of a smell, but that was easily fixable by asking for new ones.

For the price we paid, our stay at Cwmbach Guest House was absolutely worth it. The room in Honeysuckle Cottage was well-equipped and the beds were really comfortable. The location is simply breathtaking, with epic scenery surrounding the property. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially Ashley who took really good care of us during our stay.

The breakfast option could be improved by offering a fresh bucket of Greek yogurt on a daily basis, instead of the same one being left on the table throughout our stay. It just felt a little cheap compared to the overall experience.

the owner was so helpful and welcoming, even giving us a lift to our wedding when the roads were closed. the breakfasts were superb and our lodge had everything we needed. Highly recommended and we will definitely stay again!
