the remote drive to get there was an adventure in itself, but well worth it. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was lovely. the accommodations had a quirky style and the lounge downstairs was a comfortable place to relax. I especially enjoyed the fabulous cooked breakfast and the scenic riverside location. it was a great value for the price, and I can't recommend Dalmunzie Castle enough for hiking, hunting, and golfing.

stayed here before in spittal of glenshee. Dalmunzie Castle exceeded expectations this time! Loved the old charm and history, made it feel special. Gorgeous views, beautifully decorated room with a great bath. Perfect if you enjoy golf and walking. Will book again in ski season!

I recently stayed at Dalmunzie Castle for a climbing trip with my daughter. The hotel generously upgraded us to a spacious suite upon arrival, which had a charming and clean character. The friendly and professional staff made us feel pampered and even welcomed our dog. The picturesque and peaceful location provided a perfect backdrop for our Scotland getaway. The delicious breakfast, including a delightful berry compote, and the tasty monkfish curry made our stay even more enjoyable. We can't wait to return for more Munros!

We got great value for our money at Dalmunzie Castle. The room was amazing - massive, cozy, and full of character. The location was breathtaking, surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Scottish Highlands. The staff treated us like royalty, making us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay.

The food for breakfast could use some improvement, specifically the lack of plain porridge as a simple alternative to cereal.
