the remote drive to get there was an adventure in itself, but well worth it. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was lovely. the accommodations had a quirky style and the lounge downstairs was a comfortable place to relax. I especially enjoyed the fabulous cooked breakfast and the scenic riverside location. it was a great value for the price, and I can't recommend Dalmunzie Castle enough for hiking, hunting, and golfing.

The value for money at Dalmunzie Castle was excellent, especially with the free room upgrade and delicious evening meal. The location was exactly what I wanted, with breathtaking scenery and a true Scottish vibe. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

The food for breakfast could have been improved by offering more continental style options like fruit, cereal, and pastries.

We were also delighted with the comfort of our room - it was quirky yet clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Additionally, the staff provided exceptional service, making us feel welcome and truly adding to the overall experience. We would highly recommend this hotel. an unforgettable romantic break.

stayed here before in spittal of glenshee. Dalmunzie Castle exceeded expectations this time! Loved the old charm and history, made it feel special. Gorgeous views, beautifully decorated room with a great bath. Perfect if you enjoy golf and walking. Will book again in ski season!

dalmunzie castle in spittal of glenshee is the perfect getaway in scotland. the staff is amazing, treating us and our dog like royalty. the hotel is picturesque, quiet, and exceeded our expectations. breakfast was delicious and the surrounding scenery was breathtaking. a truly unforgettable stay.
