I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in the Lake District. The hotel is surrounded by picturesque landscapes, with a stunning lakeside location and breathtaking views of the mountains. The restaurant was lovely, offering delicious meals and overlooking a charming duck pond and gardens. My room was large and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the garden. The service provided by the staff was impeccable, they were all friendly, professional, and efficient. The buffet breakfast was great and the spa facilities were a bonus.

That the hotel would benefit from some minor maintenance work.

We had a great value for our money, with spacious rooms and lovely bathrooms that even had bathtubs. The location was beautiful, with well-kept grounds, and the staff treated us exceptionally well, making sure our toddler was comfortable and accommodating all our needs.

Our purpose for staying at Damson Dene was to enjoy a relaxing getaway, and we were not disappointed. The grounds were beautiful, providing plenty of places to sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The food at dinner was absolutely wonderful, and the staff provided excellent service. Our room was clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The small swimming pool was a great bonus, and the massage and pedicure in the spa were delightful. We also appreciated the hotel's dog-friendly policy, as it was lovely to see well-behaved dogs during our stay.

I recently stayed at Damson Dene for a few nights and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast included in the price was fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The private gardens with a pond and ducks added a lovely touch to the atmosphere. it was a great stay with comfy beds, clean sheets, and a great pool, steam room, and jacuzzi.

The Christmas decorations and festive atmosphere were fantastic. the complimentary drink and mince pie were a lovely touch. the location was perfect for exploring the local area and enjoying the winter season.

The hotel was not up to standard. the breakfast was average and lacked variety.

During our stay at Damson Dene, we were impressed with the cleanliness of our room. The bar food was delicious and we particularly enjoyed the quiz night hosted by the friendly and entertaining hotel manager, Wayne. The staff were accommodating and made our weekend stay a truly enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Located in the quiet South Lakes area, this hotel offers a peaceful retreat from the bustling city life. The restaurant is a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal, although it can be a bit pricey. The bar area is the only place where you can enjoy a drink, which could be a drawback for some. Set in an area of England with lots going on, there are plenty of attractions and activities nearby to keep you entertained.

The rooms and corridors could use some updating, with tired carpets and a few reports of a damp smell.

We recently spent a weekend at a charming hotel in the Lake District and had a fantastic time. the location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the countryside from every corner of the hotel. We stayed in a newly refurbished room which was incredibly spacious and offered lovely views of the hills. Another highlight was the delicious food at the restaurant. They had a daily changing menu, and we loved the mushroom risotto. the fact that they accept tastecards and offer 2-4-1 on the food was also a great bonus.

The lack of nearby attractions within walking distance. While there were a couple of pubs within reach, the narrow roads and lack of street lights made it unsafe to walk, especially at night.

This hotel is fantastic for exploring the South Lakes. It is located in a nice quiet area east of Lake Windermere, surrounded by beautiful grounds with a lake. The rooms are spacious and modern, with big bathrooms including spa baths. The attention to detail, such as the four-poster bed and the air freshener in the bedroom, adds a luxurious touch. Breakfast is included and served in small dishes, which are frequently replenished with delicious food.

All aspects of this hotel were more than satisfactory.
