Noisy guests ruined sleep.

We loved the overall stunning restoration of this spectacular building. The room was incredibly comfortable and well-furnished, and the staff at reception and bar were extremely pleasant. The freshly prepared scotch eggs and shrimp from the bar supper were delicious and nicely presented. The views from the room were fantastic, and the staff even arranged a private dining area for a dinner party we had, accommodating a special needs child. Absolutely loved everything about this place and it was fantastic value for money.

Incredible location nested in the heart of this historic park. The gardens truly shine here, and they surround this unique venue in a truly picturesque way. The staff here are operating at a really high level as well, always courteous, and always happy to help in any way they can. The room itself was a joy to stay in featuring many of the amenities we've come to expect from a luxury hotel. The terrace was a highlight, as it really allowed us to unwind and soak in the tranquillity of this place.

Really nice complimentary fruits and sweets at the reception. Pleasant surrounding area and a good location for exploring nearby attractions. The upgrade was worth it, as it was nice to have a big four-poster bed as well as a large bathroom with a bathtub and shower.

The hotel could use some updating as the lighting in the guest rooms and wardrobe space was inadequate. , the noise level outside the ground-level room was high due to school proms and other guests.

The bedroom was beautifully appointed, with lovely décor and a stunning ambiance. Everything looked perfect. The edges were so soft that we almost fell off, and it was so soggy that sleep was impossible. Despite this, the receptionist was helpful and arranged for a new mattress to be installed. The property itself was amazing, with a breathtaking construction and picturesque surroundings. The food served at the wedding was the best we have ever encountered.

I would recommend this hotel for its stunning ambiance and delicious food. Although there were a few drawbacks, the staff were accommodating and made an effort to resolve the issues.
