The breakfast choices were great and the supper was amazing pub food. I adored the comfortable beds and the prime location for visiting the surrounding area.

The check-in was chaotic due to a computer breakdown and the plumbing noise in the ensuite bathroom of the room was irritating at night. It was inconvenient having to walk outside to get to the room, and traffic noise from the nearby road was distinctly audible.

Friendly staff, cozy rooms, delicious food, enjoyable murder mystery evening. Will definitely return!

We had a fantastic stay at the Halfway Inn. the rooms were beautifully refurbished to a high standard, with a modern country style. the staff were attentive and handled our complicated bill with ease when we added a meal and friends to our stay. the free wifi throughout the hotel was a bonus. the location was perfect for exploring Dartmoor, and the large breakfasts with fresh milk delivered to the door at 6am were a delightful touch. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the location is great and really easy to find, just a 5-minute drive from the Devon Expressway. Despite being on a main road, it was still very peaceful. Secondly, the staff were incredible, always friendly and attentive. Lastly, the rooms, which are located in a separate converted building behind the pub/restaurant, were lovely and modern with everything I would need to hand.

All in all, this hotel was absolutely first class.

The hotel unfortunately suffers from poor wifi and phone reception in some of the rooms.

I recently stayed at the Halfway Inn in Newton Abbot for one night and it was a fantastic experience. The location was very convenient, although there was some noise from the busy road, my room at the back was peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the food at the restaurant was absolutely amazing. I especially loved the fact that there was a table and chair set up in the room, which made working so much easier. it was a lovely place to stay with great bathroom facilities.

The room we stayed in was nicely decorated, with good quality furnishings. the shower room had a great shower and fittings. the windows were also a plus, especially during the heatwave. We appreciated the courtesy tray with water, biscuits, hot chocolate, tea, and coffee. we were able to request a vegan breakfast, which was a huge bonus. the parking right outside the room was very convenient.

I had a payment issue with Eviito, as the payment was pending in my bank for 6 days with no refund in sight. the internet signal in the room was also not very strong, but luckily the free Wi-Fi in the Inn made up for it.
