Stayed at Dartmoor Lodge for three nights while touring the moors. The location was beautiful and convenient, with easy access to major routes. The staff were pleasant and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The buffet-style breakfast was of good quality, and the Sunday carvery dinner was excellent, offering a great meat selection. We were also upgraded to a bigger room upon arrival, which was a nice surprise. a great deal with friendly staff, excellent food, and a good location.

I recently stayed at Dartmoor Lodge for a weekend getaway. The free parking and delicious breakfast were fantastic perks. The hotel's location near Buckfast Abbey and Dartmoor National Park was ideal for exploring the area. The bedroom was spacious and well-equipped, with a modern bathroom. I enjoyed dining outdoors in the beautiful surroundings, and the staff were friendly and professional. Despite a busy wedding, the service to staying guests was not compromised. it was a brilliant weekend and I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located right on the edge of Dartmoor, making it a great base for exploring the beautiful surroundings. It is also just off the A38 expressway, allowing for easy access and convenience for those traveling by car. the rooms are well-maintained and clean, with comfortable bedding and modern bathrooms. The friendly staff provides excellent service and the breakfast options are delicious, offering a range of choices to start the day off right.

The noise from other guests in the rooms above can be quite bothersome, with creaky floors and loud footsteps interrupting a peaceful night's sleep.

As longer term business travelers, we were impressed with the excellent quality of the food and the comfortable and clean rooms. The friendly staff made us feel welcome and took the time to chat with us. We also appreciated that our dog was well taken care of. The location is convenient with easy access to the main road and Dartmoor.

We felt very welcome during our stay and have no complaints.

The Dartmoor Lodge Hotel is ideally located for business guests, being situated just off the A38. This makes it convenient for traveling around Devon. there is a Shell petrol station just 100 yards away, which is convenient for filling up on fuel. The hotel is surrounded by some wonderful natural sites as well as interesting places to visit, making it a perfect spot for a night or two in this lovely area. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.

One of the drawbacks of the hotel is that there is no windows/air circulation through the passage to the rooms at the back, which could make the rooms feel stuffy.
