The rooms were incredibly spacious, with large beds and all the modern amenities needed. Despite being located on a main road, the hotel was surprisingly quiet. The cleanliness was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to provide outstanding hospitality. Would definitely stay again with a car.

This hotel is located in a very pleasant suburb of the city with a real village feeling. It offers good facilities and the rooms have nice facilities too, with the option of 3 single beds or a double and single bed. The included breakfast could have offered more protein such as eggs.

Recently stayed at Diamonds Guest House for a short family trip. The room easily accommodated the three of us and had a good-sized shower. Beds and bedding were top-notch. The location was fantastic, just a 10-minute walk to the city center and surrounded by local shops. The room was clean, spacious, and warm. Breakfast had a great variety. Located in a lovely area of the city, it was a short walk to the centre of York. The front garden was neat and welcoming. Conveniently, there were regular buses just across the road that could take you to the rail station. The rooms were clean, with spotless bedding and towels. The friendly staff made us feel welcome, even allowing us to store our belongings before check-in.

One of the staff members unexpectedly entered our room without knocking.

For the price we paid, we got great value with a nice clean room and comfy bed at Diamonds Guest House. The location was perfect, close to where we needed to be in the city and just a short walk from the train station. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to have a special breakfast for our son who has allergies.

We spent xmas at a guest house that was quite cheap and well located. the continental breakfast was adequate and there was a variety of cereals, tea, and fresh fruit. the rooms were clean and comfy, which helped us enjoy our stay even more.

We were not impressed by the bathroom/shower room, which could have been cleaner. the shower pressure was also poor.

I had a wonderful stay at Diamonds Guest House. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the city center. The front desk guy was friendly and always had a smile on his face. We arranged a parking pass in advance, which made our stay hassle-free. The shower in our room was great, even though it was not very big. The breakfast was delivered to our door in cute little baskets, and it was perfect for us since we're not big breakfast fans. The beds were comfortable, and we had a supermarket and some local eateries nearby. I would highly recommend this hotel for its great location, friendly staff, and comfortable amenities.

Although the decor in the room was a bit tired and dated, it didn't affect our overall stay. Additionally, I wish there was a little tray in the shower to place our essentials on.

Fairly clean room with fresh bedding and towels. Comfy bed and good location for personal business and walking distance to the station. Kettle with tea/coffee provisions, biscuits, bottled water, and basic toiletries provided. Relatively cheap for city centre. Fine for a 1 night stop over.
