This hotel is great value for money, especially for business travelers and families. The location is perfect, with easy access to City Airport and a nearby Chinese restaurant. The hotel offers basic amenities like a kitchenette and a Nespresso machine, which was a plus. The rooms with a view of the airport are a unique feature, and the breakfast provided was delicious.

All in all, this hotel was excellent with no major issues.

loved my stay at dockside apartments at excel! the reception staff were amazing, so helpful and polite. the rooms were clean and cozy, perfect for this cold weather. i wouldn't even consider other hotels in the area, dockside exceeded my expectations. i'll definitely be back!

Beautiful space and furnishings, comfortable beds. Great staff that went all out for us and were super friendly. Interesting location in the new area alongside the docks with an absolutely fantastic view onto the docks, the railway and the city airport on the other side. Very cool, very spacey. Very close to the train station which is quickly and often going to the city center , also with a fantastic view. Very good air conditioning and wifi. Very good and huge windows, hardly any noise from train and planes. And windows can also be opened, so no full dependence on air condition. Very pretty looking. Very good sleeping room. Big wardrobe. Very nice bathroom. Good kitchen. No dishwasher. A bit more dishes would still be favorable. Washing machine , however, we also didn't ask for any. You should come with an Oystercard to easily use the train, but there are automates for buying your day tickets for the train at the station. Very recommendable if you like modern architecture and to see the next development steps of the city. Good for short stay. Basic kitchen facilities included a combi-microwave oven and a good-sized fridge freezer. Even a washing machine but I don't know if it had a dryer. The washing machine looked as though it had never been used. Bring your own tea towel, washing up liquid, etc. if self-catering. Helpful staff. Car park at the hotel.

The apartment was nice and clean, which made for a comfortable stay. the staff were friendly and helpful, always ensuring that our needs were met.

We called reception to address the issue, but they didn't come until the next morning. We were also confused by their response, as they mentioned that we had called the police about a lost wallet, which was not the problem we reported.
