This guest house is perfectly located, close to everything in the city center. The room was comfortable and clean, with a large King Size bed that made it feel luxurious. The ensuite shower room was excellent, and the basic TV channels and tea/coffee facilities were a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Some guests mentioned that there were occasional issues with the front door lock, which could be a bit troublesome.

The guest house is perfectly located down the street from restaurants and within walking distance of downtown. You'll appreciate being near the shops, as everything is so close. Fantastic amenities and friendly staff made for a delightful stay. the free snacks and drinks in the room were a great touch and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. the location was perfect for exploring the city easily on foot, with everything within easy reach. the room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, with a lovely bathroom.

The small size of the budget room, which was a bit cramped and the bathroom being adjacent was a concern. However, the manager kindly upgraded me for free to a larger room for the first night, which made all the difference.

As a visitor to St Andrews for a golf trip, my stay at Doune Guest House was perfect. I had a comfortable room with a few delightful surprises, and the shared bathroom was always spotless. The price was excellent, and the staff were responsive and convenient to town. Despite being fully booked, the guest house still felt very private. it was a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay.
