During my Easter getaway, I stayed at a B&B that impressed me with its size and comfort. The spacious and well-lit room offered an amazing view of the river and was located at the heart of a picturesque and peaceful village with plenty of lovely pubs to explore. I particularly enjoyed the flexibility that the self-service breakfast and the well-equipped kitchen offered.

There is really not much to complain about at this B&B. The only minor inconvenience I found was that the bed mattress was too soft for my personal liking, but that didn't stop me from having a pleasant and restful sleep.

I had a fantastic stay at this place. The location was great, being less than a minute's walk from the train station. It was ideal for someone traveling like me. Plus, my room had a fantastic view of the River Tyne and the old bridge. The hotel is situated in a quiet and charming village, perfect if you want to explore and have breakfast or lunch at the local eateries. Alternatively, you can use the well-equipped kitchen/diner downstairs or enjoy the en-suite shower room. The hosts were very welcoming and provided excellent local knowledge. The service was top-notch, with amenities such as ironing facilities, tea and coffee, Wi-Fi, and a flat-screen TV. I particularly appreciated the staff's effort to provide a reasonable "help yourself" non-cooked breakfast, making me feel well taken care of. The wealth of little extras available for guests was a pleasant surprise.

Additionally, there were two food stores nearby, making it convenient for any necessary supplies. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing us with great recommendations and guiding us through the best locations around.

the owners went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and the affordable price exceeded our expectations. they provided a delicious help-yourself breakfast with a variety of options. the spacious room and friendly manager added to our great experience.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, as it was very close to the local train station. We were also pleased to find that the hotel was in the centre of the village, making it easy to access local shops and amenities. we enjoyed being able to visit the nearby pubs for a drink or two.

We did find that the room and bathroom were simply decorated and lacked any special features or luxury.
