My stay at Douneside House was absolutely lovely. The bucolic setting was simply breathtaking, surrounded by stunning gardens and fields. I felt like I was staying in a castle, with the former manor house adding charm and elegance to the atmosphere. The room I stayed in was comfortable and well-appointed, providing a cozy retreat after a long day of exploring. The restaurant exceeded my expectations, serving surprisingly good food with a casual yet elegant touch. Additionally, the excellent health club on the property was a great bonus. I highly recommend Douneside House for a truly enjoyable and memorable stay.

Charming setting with stunning gardens. Enjoyed a relaxing stay in a clean and well-designed apartment. The staff went above and beyond to make meals enjoyable for our energetic kids. The pool and grounds were a hit with the whole family. a wonderful experience.

I recently stayed at Douneside House for a leisure trip and it was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The pool, steam room, and jacuzzi were a great way to relax, and I loved exploring the beautiful grounds. The room had everything I needed and the bar had a relaxed atmosphere. The meals were outstanding and they even catered to my vegan requirements. I loved the charming and stylish Scottish feel of the hotel.

Great deal on a romantic escape. the room was cozy and warm with a comfortable bed and a decent TV. Located near a hiking trail and not far from other attractions. the shower had good water pressure and toiletries were provided.

Not very clean. Found hair on the bathroom floor and cobwebs were visible in the room.

the hotel and staff were lovely, making for a comfortable and friendly stay. the food was complex and inventive, and the location offered gorgeous walks right from the hotel. exceeded expectations, especially after my previous stay in tarland.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. They even remembered how I take my coffee and made sure I had my morning fix before we checked out. The setting of this place is truly stunning, with gorgeous grounds and a beautiful garden. We enjoyed playing on the putting green and taking in the amazing views. The hotel itself was charming and clean, with all the amenities we could wish for. The restaurant served delicious meals, and the staff was attentive and welcoming. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Although we didn't get a chance to try the heated pool or play croquet on the grounds, we still had a fantastic stay. The entire complex, including the villa's and sports center, was wonderful.

As a disabled guest, I was impressed with the hotel's accessibility and attentive staff. The facilities were suitable for my needs.

Felt incredibly well taken care of, couldn't find a single reason to complain!
